I worked as a projectionist when Napoleon Dynamite was released. Fox shipped us a new reel to replace the end credits to include this scene. It was shot well after the film wrapped. One of the few times I remember a studio doing this.

My dad spent his younger years in a tiny town in central Idaho. When he saw this movie, he said all the characters felt waaaay too familiar to him, especially the mumbling chicken farmer (the old guy performing the wedding in this clip). :D

We would knock on doors and when someone opened the door we'd ask if they drive truck. Without exception the answer was, "we drive every kind of truck". You'd have to be there to understand. 🤣
