- The Wedge is glassy and going off and we decided to send out RC Surfer! This was probably the cleanest day of the year at Wedge with no shortage of insane rides by RC surfer and real human surfers! Special thank you to my back up filmer Tyler Stanaland for helping capture the action. Subtle zoom makes all the difference in the world! One way to look shitty is some jumpy, cell phone cam zoom fosho, lol.
My IG is the same as here. I use a Panny ag160 and a cheap ass Nikon 3200. Nikon on the gimbal doesn't look that bad?

What distance/range do they have? I've just ordered one.
They have pretty good range! These waves are definitely a bit too gnarly for it but start in small surf. Also make sure all is sealed good before getting in water. The more you use it the longer life the battery will have but on mine I got a LIPO battery and it lasts for about 30 minutes 🤙

May I enquire - I’ve seen heaps of surfers and boarders jostling for position on your channel, there doesn’t appear to be too many wankers out there who think they “own’ the waves. I really like how it appears to be a pretty friendly place to get a wave if you have the balls to get in the line up. I hope I’m reading that correctly.

He is pretty much the bone stock Kyosho/Catch Surf RC Surfer but I did actually add a couple lead weights to the inside but might try a couple more! 🤙🥩🤙

Those guys filming in the water are so in the way of every surfer they are trying to shoot. Clearly they have a death wish. Way too close the the break, just move a couple yards to the right and they could still get a great shot of the barrel. No reason to put everyone one in danger.
Worst place to surf imho. Huge waves breaking in VERY shallow water.
