"Cuz there's so many sleeping people." 50 years later, very little has changed in that respect.
There's a huge difference. People are wilfully asleep now.
People need to be woken up by truth because the world is swimming in a sea of lies. Jimi said in one of his songs, "You gotta tell the children the truth they don't need a whole lotta lies". Theirtube has taken down countless times since its 2017 release the most forbidden documentary ever: "Europa The Last Battle". Watch the full 10-part series at archive-dot-org while you still can!

Jimi iz no longer around 2 play loudly, & WAKE EM UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LSD WAKES YOU UP TO THE WORLD...😴🤔😉😁😂🤣😂💥
IDK I think many ppl wish they could get a good night sleep !!!
" ..because there're so many sleeping people"
Even in 2021, with millions to see, options to do and everyday something new..
Its still the same, Jimi.
Simply an amazing man.
Shows you how great he truly was. Never saying Oh I'm better than every one else. Rather shy and sincere.
Hendrix was vilified for his wild solos.
Jimi was was actually chasing the perfect note; the note that would open everyone's consciousness.
Dick Cavett has an adorable sense of humor.
The man was so ahead of his time. Immensely talented. Play on Jimi...play on.
This interveiw was so amazing. Im gonna say it the way I've seen it for decades now,as I first saw this in the film about Jimi Hendrix, Dick Cavette was dense as hell,oh well the truth is the truth and Jimi was so far ahead of him,and most of the people around him, this interview is far far deeper than just a nice fun chit chat, what Jimi was saying rings sooo true and it is so beautiful they way he weaves it,its like his long flowing cursive writings! So fluid,,so clear and beautiful, play on Jimi, play on,Man!! Walking Electricity and Consciousness!! Wow. Peace & Love!!
Yeah, groovy man! Far out.
right on bro, right on!
Right on Keith!
I honestly think he was from from another Planet.
So many sleeping people” he’s says , brilliant!
Why’s his voice so soothing?
peace in heart
@@mikidomeny1677 demons
@@mikidomeny1677 Jimmy page is the same way man. They got those demons. That and the drugs mellowed him out.
@@donefinished It takes a high spiritual level when you are tested.. Otherwise there are only as many demons around you as many angels you lack. Demons are around you only when they are allowed - when you are tested. And man like Hendrix or other people that have such a power (access to so many hearts) are greatly tested.
@@mikidomeny1677 that's true. Unfortunately, I believe it is clear he invited the demons. they gave him the ability to practice and direction to become what he did, ruining him financially and causing the depression that led to his untimely death. Demons are always a two edged sword and the cost ALWAYS far out weighs their benefit.
Biggest star ever.
He didn't die planet Earth was just part of his tour he had to visit other planets and dimensions
Still sending the good vibes

Crazy how they don’t play any Hendrix music on the radio
Because the radio nowadays cares more about money and modern day music, it's disgusting.😊
because his music is of it's time..third stone from the Sun, crosstown traffic..they dont appeal today
LEGEND!!!!!!!
So gentle ...like prince
He was a prince.
No, Prince was like him.
Those hands are HUGE, almost as big as his mind...
Oh Jimi we have never been more asleep then now

Christine R. hey. cavetts a pretty sharp guy with interviews. however... james marshall hendrix creates a totally different APPROACH!!!! hendrix is on some celestial IQ type of level.
Seattle. tru story.
Kevin Shields from My Bloody Valentine is the only musician, apart from Jimi, I've heard talk about his desire for people to experience through wave sounds/frequencies to switch on the soul.
JIMI.
Short but sweet.
btw, 101 .
Cavett is usually good at interviewing but he seemed uncomfortable here
ITS HENDRIX!!!!
He was in front of somebody much smarter than him
Cavett was bad at interviewing black people
@@justindonaldson3856 truth
Meeting God tends to make people uncomfortable.
what year was he in the 101st? My dad was in the 101st from 56 to 60,he was going to do another 4 years but decided not to,and the whole 101st was massacred dropping into Vietnam.
May 1961 - June 1962
Vietnam was good for nothing sadly
do have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rarities much like all the other Dick Cavett interviews
Two cool cats.
Coolest cat to ever walk the face of earth period
Every time I hear the warbling sounds of the high guitar notes playing back at double speed towards the end of "Foxy Lady", I remember what a genius JH was. So sad that his creepy sociopathic manager overdosed him on barbs and drowned him with red wine, because Jimi was leaving him.
Besides The Tonight Show & DICK CAVETT here, Hendrix didn't do many studio interviews.
For goodness sake Dick post the interview entirely. These 2 minute grabs are painful

Hendrix was sensitive, defended and yet open. I can see he is a bit mentally divergent and is struggling with some stuff. I wish he had been allowed to continue to develop as a person.
