He genuinely continues to surprise me every time he steps into the recording booth. I love his voice so much, the higher register and the lower register. He can do it all. I am patiently waiting for more solo work.

Taeil, Kun, and Yangyang have always been the underrrated (and under-appreciated) members of the group, and I've wished they would get a good opportunity to show their skills. I'm so glad they finally got the chance to sing longer melodies and rap in Rain Day!!! We are seeing so many "athlete-type" idols these days due to the demand for intense choreography, but we always need these natural musician/artist types to make good music!
Taeil has never been underrated. The members have given him love since the rookie days, SM pursued him like the vocal god he is, he was is only artist under 50 yrs old chosen by the Korean government to honor the Father of Korean music and he was accepted to a prestigious university for his talent.

Taeil's vocals and his control is truly admirable, his pronunciation is so good too. He delivers the feeling of the song so well. This shows how much he has matured as an artist. Also, the fact that SM allowed Kun to produce his own song in the NCT lab shows how much SM trusts Kun's talent. The song is honestly really good. The addition of Yangyang's rap into this added so much flair to the song. Their combination is so perfect that they complement each other's strengths.

Taeil's lower register is so nice, I was thinking, "I wanna hear more of this, such a sturdy and ~handsome tone" and then he hit those falsetto notes so perfectly and I was like, "Okay this is good too!" I like any tone or register he uses, but I especially love how his vibrato sounds on the lower notes, it's ~sexaayyy. He eats it all lmao YangYang is really good at both rapping and singing; a lot of rappers don't have the most polished singing voices but his is so nice~ Kun is so talented to write songs like this! He understands all the nuances, how each component affects the others, and wants every detail to be perfect. He should write more songs for NCT! And of course his voice is amazing too, and he looks handsome in the recording studio lol

So thankful to Taeil and Yangyang. Really. Especially Taeil. He's so busy and yet he accept Kun's request/offer. I have reservations at first since I'm anticipating Kun's solo. I'm not happy (I don't hate the other two) when the trio sub unit had been announced actually but seeing Kun working with his co-members, producing such beautiful song. It actually fits Yangyang and Taeil. So proud of three of them.
