I love her dark, wounded, and slightly husky voice. It evokes a heart full of many sad and painful memories. Jeannie Seely has the perfect country music voice.
Real country music at its best.

Another great country Singer 👏
They burned a few bridges we crossed, but somebody kept building them back, and I kept crossing it to you, till finally one day 20 years later we were both on the other side of the bridge, we have been together 41 years. I like to think God had his hand on us.
This Lady is Something Else !!!!!!!! One of the super ladys of true Country Music

@user-et5qs2en4c Thanks for the reminder. I'll watch this again, over and over a few times and lament the past and be sad to see how country music has lost it identity these days.
This is proper country music ,
Listen up all you folks that think Pop with a twang is country.....it isn't !
I love her.
I played a show once with Jeannie before Nashville called. I think it was the Titusville, PA

Incredible song and singer!
Watch out Jeannie, Little Jimmy is coming after you....lol
I'd love to see you sing a duet with Brian Setzer! Perhaps even making an album! That would be one for the record books!
I do so love this song by Jimmy - he does such a super job with it as he does any ballad. Jeanie does a good job with this song - it's such a great song - as she says, with soul and feeling. This is timeless. Thank you for posting this. - Paula
