Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my UA-cam Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.

True.. it's not that easy before to be on MAMA stage. Rookies usually has given only collaboration Performances. But EXO already is given a lot of time to perform and it's not a collaboration, the fact that they are only just a 1 year old group (1 year and 8 months). It's a great achievement.

D.O.'s being professional on their rookie days, when he injured his ankle right before starting the whole performance in MAMA 2013 🥺. He passed out right after this performance at the back stage according to one member.
Kai's performance here was so underrated, he was only 19 years old!! And Kyungsoo carrying on with his hurt ankle.....this is such an iconic EXO performance all around.
When I learned that D.O got hurt on his right ankle this made me sad so much but despite being hurt he still continue to perform, he endured all the pain. That's why when EXO won he was not there because D.O brought to the hospital. That makes me admire and love D.O more.

D.O injured in the middle of the performance, no one knows that he is injured until they finished the performance because kyungsoo handle his pain that no one noticed it. So no one will stop D.O from performing because no one knows he waa injured until the end of the performance.
Kyungsoo was injured during the performance not before the performance. No one let him perform “even though they knew he was injured” because no one knew that he got injured, he endured his pain. Even our members didn’t noticed that until the performance ended.

yaaaas!!!! 💗💗💗 in this performance they are still 12 ang the first guy with the girl is LUHAN and just a trivia, in the part of growl where d.o sang his part and they like run, he was skipping because he injured his ankle when he jumped from the table but you can see how professional he is because you can't see that he's in pain but i guess adrenalin rush makes him numb, but he was rush to the hospital after the performance and there are pics/clips that he was in a wheelchair after that

"Beauty and the Beast" is the title of the whole performance. Kyungsoo had a bad foot injury during this performance, i think he landed on a wrong footing, but performed as if he was A-okay. I read somewhere, though, that other members realized that he was in pain halfway through the performance and they were literally supporting him in that tree of life formation to relieve his foot of the pain. I think he was brought to a hospital immediately after so he wasn't around when EXO accepted an award later.
