I’ve been to Loboc, Bohol but I have never done what you guys are doing. We took the river boat and had buffet lunch on the boat. How did you guys found out about it or did you just happen to see while walking around the rivers edge? Love watching your blog. I really enjoy my time in the Philippines last year and I want to come back again this year. Love the food and the beaches. It’s so much spectacular especially the sunsets.
Honestly we saw a couple of people paddle boarding and we said let's just do that instead of the boat cruise. Asked our airbnb host and her friend is renting them, a truly great experience

Yes we definitely recommend paddle boarding and all the restaurants and bakeries we tried there. With vegan food I think there might be some variety at one of the restaurants we tried

I'm a Filipino and living in Winnipeg, Canada for 20 plus years. My plan is to retire in the Philippines because it can stretch my pension. I've looked at other countries like Dominican Republic but the cost of living there is getting expensive.

You've missed the river cruise floating restaurant. It's full of fun with unlimited foods and entertainment while cruising just for one thousand pesos. When we got there on that boat more than 60 percent are foreign tourists. That's why you don't see them on the street.

A 7.8 earhquake hit the island a few years back and cut off the island for a couple of weeks. A lot of the damaged houses is the result of that. The house construction you see may actually be re-constructions. The Boholanos are known for their fierce love of their identity and culture but will give all they have to guests. They are my people. Your presence in our island is a blessing, please visit again.

Usually backpackers and tourist choose thailand or vietnam as their first country to visit in Southeast Asia.
That is a good idea, something we should do. Regarding first trip to Asia, I (Robert) have already been to Thailand, Natalie always wanted to go to the Philippines so we said let's go for it. Our next country is vietnam that we have videos for.
