- Paddle boarding on the Loboc River was definitely one of the best things that we did in the Philippines. Loboc River on the island of Bohol is a truly beautiful and special place, the town is so quiet and peaceful and the people are some of the nicest we ever met in all of the Philippines. i love your reaction to the price of the bread you bought at the store... hope you guys are still around the Philippines and get to see other provincial towns like Loboc... all the other vloggers check out the big cities and main attraction which is all well and good but the interaction with locals and seeing the smaller towns and the little charm they have is what really makes me smile.

I'm a Filipino and living in Winnipeg, Canada for 20 plus years. My plan is to retire in the Philippines because it can stretch my pension. I've looked at other countries like Dominican Republic but the cost of living there is getting expensive.
Live in Vietnam or Usbekistan, Cheaper Country in Asia to Live Less than a Thousand Dollars a Month … Food is Cheaper and Healthier…

I’ve been to Loboc, Bohol but I have never done what you guys are doing. We took the river boat and had buffet lunch on the boat. How did you guys found out about it or did you just happen to see while walking around the rivers edge? Love watching your blog. I really enjoy my time in the Philippines last year and I want to come back again this year. Love the food and the beaches. It’s so much spectacular especially the sunsets.
Honestly we saw a couple of people paddle boarding and we said let's just do that instead of the boat cruise. Asked our airbnb host and her friend is renting them, a truly great experience

Yes we definitely recommend paddle boarding and all the restaurants and bakeries we tried there. With vegan food I think there might be some variety at one of the restaurants we tried

Watching you guys here in Brampton .Very soon I'll be 60 yrs .old time to retire and go back to my home town in Loay after Loboc where you are now .Life in Canada is good but slowly not getting good .In the place where I work and lived too many Immigrant all prices went up. Still Canada is good .Enjoy your stay in Bohol even there's still a lot to look around in Bohol island.

HI Guyz, it would be great if you have a Q and a video after ur Philippines vlog or maybe during ur trip. Questions like we are interested to know what makes u choose to visit Philippines after ur Mexico vlog. Usually backpackers and tourist choose thailand or vietnam as their first country to visit in Southeast Asia.
That is a good idea, something we should do. Regarding first trip to Asia, I (Robert) have already been to Thailand, Natalie always wanted to go to the Philippines so we said let's go for it. Our next country is vietnam that we have videos for.
Definitely want to go back to Thailand, that will be on the agenda hopefully next year
Lots of Foreigners here choose to live in the province.

cockfighting is legal comment... and someone had really convincing points when i brought it up when i was visiting the philippines! they said that The roosters have the best lives, they live like kings, fed the best corn, everything premium for the rooster. They get the best everything. Now, compare that to the life of the chicken that made it to KFC...
A cockfighter is a warrior that died fighting in the arena. when they lose, the fallen rooster's going to get eaten too. Nothing wasted, so why feel bad for the roosters but not for the other chickens that didn't get the same treatment. so yeah, messed up reality with what chickens are to humans...
i should feel bad about cockfighting, but not only that then i should feel bad about the regular chickens too because the rooster can somewhat control when it's time to get slaughtered. but when it wins, it's back to living the good life. it lives life like a boxer. the chickens didn't get any of same privileges, it wasn't a warrior. its purposed in life was to be fuel for the evil human bellies. 😛
