Excellent demonstration of tying the squirmy, I shall certainly follow your instructions. Just before I thread the material I like to add a drop of liquid soap just to prevent the material catching on the bead if there's a rough edge.
Hi Gareth, I will give that worm ago some time. I fished with your black mamba for the first time since you gave it to me on a rainy day at garn about feb time. Was really impressed. Turned a good few fish but not getting good hook hold. I have started doing a video on winter lures and the mamba will be in it. Thank you so much for your kindness. Take care. Shaun.
Kindale fly's really are above the rest of the pack atm, I'm seriously impressed with their materials! On that note just wanted to say thanks for showing me how to tie this brilliant pattern mate. Learned a lot 😃
@@benhyde1593 I sure do it'll be up on the website soon or you can email me at info@ukflyfisher.com and we can set up a custom order. Kind Regards. Gareth
UkFlyFisher I only fish on the northern Irish rivers. For brown trout , dollaghan & salmon . I always had success using live worms so I’ll mayb buy a few of these
@@davidgregg6703 no worries. I have a new range of interchangeable worms I'm working on. Message me on Facebook and ill send you a couple of the pictures.
I like your squirmy tie very much. I believe it will prove to be stronger than other squirmy ties. Thank you,
MSG Leum

Gareth gave me one too. It catches on all my local ponds. Really effective pattern.
Awesome, feel free to post a link below.
Nice little hack in the beginning with that squirmy pulling through the bead before attaching it to the hook 🙏🏼 thanks for that
Another great video. I always do well on your phosphor blue squirmies.
Cheer John. That's my favourite too.

2020 hasn't been kind.
@@UkFlyFisher ah looking good bud 👍🏻
Great tie pal!
Thank you.
Legend!
Certainly interesting bait to use but the negative bit about the video is the two week lockdown, obviously. The rest gives a thumbs up from me.
What size bead ??
Would u only use these on lakes for rainbow or would u fish them on the river for brown trout
Yes, they'll catch river Grayling and Brown Trout. I'd go a little smaller then though. Pink and orange seem to work well for the grayling.
