I like the packing blanket on the floor idea. Easy to see stuff and not have it sliding of and getting lost.

I see something that could be an issue for you - with the ground wires connected to the top of the bracket, the only way for you to access that ground (should it fail at some point in the future) will be for you to dismantle the dash. I would move that ground point to the underside of the bracket if possible, so that you can maintain that ground if the tail light or blinkers fail.

The dash is removable so it should not be an issue. V1 you had to take the whole body off. Not anymore with V2.

This would be the biggest hurdle for me if I decided to build this car, wiring! I don’t have a clue when it comes to wiring!
How well does the manual help out in this part of the project?

It does and it doesn't. This issues is, you have directions for everything. However, since I have 8 different systems (Car, HVAC, Power Steering, Wireless control, Door poppers, ECU, Power windows, Trans control) They are all separate manuals that you have to combine into one system. If you keep it simple with Car, carburetor (no ECU control) and power steering it will be way easier and is covered in one manual.

Jim.. great series thanks for putting it together. Do you happen to know where you got the throttle bracket? I ordered my harness from PSI but the bracket doesnt seem to work. Thinking of going with a floor mounted pedal for more leg room. Thanks again for a great series.

The bracket I am using comes with the corvette pedal I purchased. I took it apart and modified it. It works great.

Gonna be fun standing on your head to check fuses since they're pointed at the floor.

Hey Jim, I am loving this series. It is my dream to build a 33 hot rod. Thanks for documenting your build. I have a couple of questions. What brakes did you order for the front and what seat did you order?

Stock front brakes that come with the kit are Wilwood. Back are Ford Tbird. I got the Bench seat.

    Hi Jim,
When you have time, could you let me know about the leg room in this? I really want to build one and I can't fit into the FF Roadster due to my height, 6-7. But this appears quite a bit larger.
    Thanks!

From Firewall frame to Back of seat is about 49". Probably take 5 inches off of that for the back rest. Seat bottom might start around 32. From trans tunnel to left wall (by the pedals) is only 1 ft wide. Hope that helps!

      @@StreetRodJim, thank you very much.
Yes, these measurements will help a great deal.
You're doing a wonderful job with your kit and I look forward to each of your videos.
      Thanks for sharing your progress.
