- VIDEO SUMMARY:
Part 1 of 3 (most likely). The rest of the footage still has to be edited but it'll most likely be 3 videos. So anyway this video chronicles my entire Coachella experience. The day begins at 7 am: I make toast, do some work on the computer, load up the truck with all of our gear and clothes and stuff, drive out to the Ritz Carlton, and get set up in our room. Some of this stuff happened off camera -- but you saw the video so I'm just giving you a little backstory 😊. I then do a little talking to camera and we depart the hotel to pick up our credentials for filming. As explained in the video -- you can't simply film stuff at Coachella. HOWEVER, we were given permission by the festival to film the entire experience and promote it on UA-cam. Along with this, we were given access to the VIP area of Coachella and thanks to Lexie we were even given access to the exclusive viewing section right in front of the Main Stage. SO, long story short -- we had to collect our credentials for filming and then we headed out to the show. Once there, we met up with Lexie who (like always) was super sweet and a wonderful person to guide me through my first Coachella experience. THANK YOU LEXIE!!!

So after meeting up at the UA-cam Lounge, we went searching for some food. We decided to eat at Monty's Good Burger as that's Lexie's restaurant (and I'd had it before and it was amazing).
QUICK SIDE NOTE: Monty's Good Burger legitimately offers the best plant based food I've ever experienced -- if you ever have the opportunity, I'd advise you give them a shot. ALSO I'm not being asked to plug this restaurant chain -- I just happen to love their food. Now, back to the events of day 1. After we had some food we headed towards the Main Stage where Phoebe Bridgers (among many others) was playing a set. I had never heard her music before and I was blown away. After watching her set, we decided to head back to the UA-cam live lounge to relax. And there you have it! I hope you enjoyed the video -- I have a lot more footage to comb through for days 2 and 3 so look out for those videos.

It’s so funny to open on a closeup of you just loving a burger plus ‘I don’t care!’ reminds me of my cats. It’s a lovely looking festival, I’ve never been to one, but the ones in the UK don’t look so fancy. Still, huge stages, sound so intense the camera is a bit overwhelmed, but there’s space to move. The Saturday of London comic con is really crammed, I haven’t been for a while but I started going to smaller areas like the UA-cam stuff, and avoiding the crowd.
I hope your dad had fun too, I often wonder who’s driving and if you do or haven’t had time to learn yet, or whatever. I don’t cos it stressed me out. That’s a pretty shirt and watch, I thought it was your friend’s until I spotted it on your wrist, cos you showed a silver one at the beginning. The UA-cam space is so nice too. Vidcon creator’s lounge was similar, though smaller, and is nice to have access to things like that.
