- Here's a fun tune that's common in jams. I've just taught it on my Patreon site, which is a $4/month subscription site which as of today has the following instructional videos available, all tagged by level and key, plus lots more useful stuff. I'd love it if you joined us! You can find me at www.patreon.com/hilarieburhans
My instruction is geared toward getting you to a point where you no longer need me ;-) and is a very auditory approach (I don't provide tablature and help you to no longer need it!)

I love how haunting your arrangements sound! Definitely giving that "mountainside creek" vibe. Your intonation and rhythm are mellow and easy - not a hint of brittleness. Makes me want to keep practicing!
Beautiful playing and tone Hilarie!
Hi Josh! Thanks!
Very nice playing the song sounds great 😊
Thanks! If you’re not yet a member of my Patreon, which has (so far) about 160 instructional videos, this month (May 2024) would be a great time to join! It’s where all my recent videos are posted. At the beginning of next month, I’ll be raising the membership price to $7 /month for access to everything… but current members and those who join this month will stay at $4/month! Come check it out at www.patreon.com/hilarieburhans (Oh, and paying for an annual membership has a discount, too.)
Miss seeing you videos! Glad to hear from you
Encore!
Beautiful!
I think that you shouldn't have stopped that last note from *ringing*. It would have been so beautiful and meaningful.
Really.
Pam, your comment is giving me some sort of negative visceral reaction that I can't quite put into words.
What kind of banjo is that? It's absolutely beautiful and I love the tone!
Thanks, Ryan. It's a Marc Horowitz oldtime model... it was a collaboration between Nechville (their Atlas all-wood pot and neck connection system) and GoldTone (the carbon fiber neck.) I had my friend Stephen Owens put a hairy goatskin head on it.
@@HilarieBurhans: Hey Hilarie, is that banjo head really a hairy natural (goat) skin or a printed fiberskin artwork ? Thanks in advance. I love your music !❤
It is indeed hairy goatskin
@@HilarieBurhans , wow .. 🐐 many thanks from Tilburg, the Netherlands. 💥
