Hey everyone!
So this Hot Air Balloon Decoration was extremely challenging!!! Usually, I try a DIY design out first before showing you how to do it but I was just too eager and wanted to show you how to make this hot air balloon right away! R E G R E T S!!!!!!!
JUST KIDDING!!!!
Although it was a challenge, creatively, I love to be authentic with you guys because to me, I can’t be a fake person. I won’t lie and say this hot air balloon was easy. IT TOOK 2.5 HOURS TO CREATE!!! But I’ll be keeping everyone updated on my Instagram on how I knocked down the time in half (make sure you follow me...social media is down below).
There were some things I would’ve done differently, as I mentioned in the video:
I would’ve used 9” balloons first (instead of 12” balloons) because there would’ve been less space to cover up on 24” balloon and I would’ve been able to put the balloons closer together.
Instead of using a low-temp hot gun for every balloon, I would’ve used glue dots to add the “space fillers” which were the 5” balloons. This may help cut the time in half as well.

Hello and yes I am going to do this. I'm giving my sister a Mermaid baby shower and have used boxes from Amazon and old pillows cases and gone put in the box or go to Dollare Tree and get the white baskets and the broom poles and do as you just did. Thanks, such a great help

I only wish I’d watched it earlier. I e tried three different ways to make the “hot air balloon “ but now it’s looking sad and the shower is about 12 hrs away 😢

I did!!!! Unfortunately our photographer flubbed on us so the balloons lost some life waiting another 24 hours plus transporting. So they arent as perfect, but we are happy :)
I think it would work for either, babyshower or photoshoot

Hi Erikan! Thank you for commenting. I used an ordinary low-temp hot glue gun. It doesn't have to be a special hot glue gun. I got mine from Walmart. I linked an example of the one I used in the description box. I hope this helps 🤗

chams8921 The glue dots will work because I used them in this video ua-cam.com/video/Ddmso65nkew/v-deo.html HOWEVER...if you decide to use glue dots, make sure to add them the day of the event, not the day before because they will fall off 💕

Hi Yesenia! You shouldn't need them because I've worked with glue dots on other projects and they work just fine. Just make sure you get glue dots that stick really well (I would recommend reading the reviews on the product you want to buy). I hope this helps 🤗💙

I don't use helium at all. I only used a balloon machine and that only pushes out air
