Garnacho needs to work on his own game and not be selfish or over achieve. You can have an idol but you don't need to try mimic the idol. You don't need to score amazing goals you can simply pass and still get credit for it.
Garnacho, In my humble opinion as a red is decent but far from world class. I actually think young rashford was leagues above current garnacho too that shows the difference.

Amrabat is more useful to the team than McTominay. When he actually got to play as the main man at DM, he looked decent. But that only happened for about 4 games.
Exactly. He was one of the best players at Anfield and against Bayern, and bossed the midfield against Chelsea and against City in the FA Cup final. Dude is clearly a competent player but he hardly played as a 6 with Mainoo next to him and had lots of little injuries.

Even though it was Mainoos break out season we shouldn't be expecting and 18/19 player to play as much as he had. He needs to be rotated given the right recovery and development so we see the best of him for a decade not a few years then burnt out. Mount can do that for him and Bruno or even wide if required.

Mount was initially bought, thinking of fitting into a midfield trio of casemiro - bruno - mount. However it did nt work well as casemiro defensive converage dropped significantly. I will never doubt mount s ability, he was the star man seasons ago at chelsea.

With United making the decision not to sign Amrabat on a permanent deal and that they won’t go anywhere near Rabiot, then I pressume we are going in for another midfielder to cover the squad depth issue we had last season. That would massively excite me. I am confident united will sign Ugarte next week, so I remain calm about that. I understand the De Ligt deal being on hold because he’s still on holiday so that causes a massive delay. Once he comes back I expect united to get that deal done quickly. In regards to outgoings Wan Bissaka will leave and join West Ham most likely so a new right back comes in. Lindelof I reckon will be the one who leaves and Maguire has to leave as well. But I wouldn’t mind Maguire staying as backup choice however his wages aren’t low and he’s not gonna play a lot of game time with Martinez, Yoro, Evans and De Ligt ahead of him so it’s logical to move him on. Which means surely we go after another centre back whose left footed and will be happy to be a bench option.
It must be remembered that Amrabat has an important role in making Manutd champions in the FA Cup

Valencia was not that good. Better as a right back - strong, tenacious and decent pace but he couldn’t cross. Garnacho had some great dribbles last season just needs to learn when to pass. Plus Garnacho is still really young, where were Valencia and Nani at the same age?

I think the overall size of the ManUtd squad and quality of Players in the First Team, the Reserves/Subs and the Academy has plenty of potential right now (off-the-bat) to secure 3rd-4th PL positioning.
It is the Manager's job to create a combination to secure Victories against opposition Teams using the 'resources' at hand.
That is first and foremost for a Manager to do.
(A bit like Gareth Souhgate and the England squad. Good players, awful management).
