I feel the same way about music in general. All of this is a lifetime of studying. Maybe take the major scale as a place to start and play it in different keys. Either way, I would encourage you to try and enjoy the process of learning a little bit at a time. Will get into more details about all this stuff in future videos.
No pdf, but I made two follow-up videos that get more in-depth with 7 out of these 20 scales. Check them out in the guitar lessons section on my channel. I'll be creating more follow-up videos about the other scales.
Hey Tyson seems you kinda skipped two of the most important scales in jazz guitare #1 Bebop scale and the Pat Martino minor converse linear expressions,Hope youll TALK about it
These 20 scales cover the main diatonic scales. The bebop scales (maj, min, dom, etc) add chromatic notes to these diatonic scales. Pat Martino's minor conversion is a specific concept, which is outside of the scope of what this video is about. There's also lots of different types of pentatonic and hexatonic scales, and a lot more!
Please like, comment, and subscribe. Thanks.
Thanks, Tyson. I'm also surprised you don't get more comments, or show of support in general.
Thanks man.
Very helpful, thanks. Look forward to the future videos you mentioned.
Cool!

Glad to read that.
Tyson this is great. My one issue: So much to learn! I get overwhelmed easily and never know where to start.
