I’m so happy to see young guys like myself play Jethro Tull!!!
I know I left a comment and a like last year but it seems to have disappeared but it's very easy to repeat. This is categorically one the best Tull covers ever recorded but a group of four very talented and gifted musicians. Giacomo is second to none (except the great Martin Barre) and I'm surprised I don't see him in all of the Floating Minds videos. It's fascinating how such young people can be so greatly influenced by Jethro Tull to the point where they could step in and play at Madison Square Garden to replace them in case of an emergency. Well done and hope we can hear the entire catalog one day.

Very nice! Arianna De Lucrezia is my new obsession. I've been binge watching your videos since I discovered you two days ago. I went to Tull concerts every time they came to town in the 70s. Great to see someone so young recognize the music of Ian Anderson.
Nice job guys! I saw Tull do this live at Madison Square Garden New York City when it had just been released around 1975... Look on UA-cam for TullTapes of Tull doing Minstrel in the Gallery live with Jeffrey Hammond as the bass player... He was very charismatic... A zebra striped suit w. matching bass... In fact any video of Tull w/ Hammond is a lot of fun to watch. My first concert was Thick as a Brick, saw Passion Play, war child....Songs from the Wood at Radio City Music Hall NYC.,. Good luck, keep playing!

Bravi,io sono un fan dei Jethro e ho tutti gli LP,la base è quasi identica all'originale,sulla voce c'è ancora da lavorare molto,a parte il fatto che Ian Anderson è un mostro sacro, complimenti per il vostro coraggio nell'eseguire un pezzo così difficile,vi seguirò in altre performance.
Instrumentals are pretty tight. Ambitious selection. Super Prog/Folk/Heavy Metal gem.

i like prog rock more than rap, but i would not say what you just said.
when you hear Rap, you hear probably hear abuses, and a rigid style but listen to the dialogue delivery by most rap artists, its unimaginably talented , and in time you will learn to enjoy the melody which is hidden at first listening

Bellissima cover. Davvero tutti bravi e da Batterista che questo pezzo l’ha suonato migliaia di volte per esercizio non posso che rifarvi i complimenti per la cura con cui avete riprodotto il brano. Tra l’altro uno dei brani meno semplici della sterminata produzione dei Jethro Tull.
Tecnicamente molto impegnativo in questi tutti i comparti strumentali.

These lyrics are HARD--!
I can remember a time when I thought this song was easy to sing--; but I was probably actually cheating a lot by garbling a lot of the lyrics--.
I still would suggest, though;
Using any kind of keyboard you can find--; play the melody--; very-slowly in the key of the song--; and see how-close the notes you're actually-singing, stay--; to the notes you have to play to match the melody--.
I'm afraid I'm hearing major discrepancies as the melody descends in the last line of the chorus, and many other places--.
Anderson has a deceptively-deep voice.
Even if one starts-out singing an octave-higher--; he can still "lose" a lot of singers who don't realize how-low he is actually singing--.
I hope this may help--.

I've just noticed you may not have been trying to follow the original melody in the last notes--; but may have been adapting it by singing the next, harmonic-note up from the note of the last down-beat instead of singing those low-notes "as-transcribed--.".
If this is actually the case--; I guess that the "discrepancy" I noted-above may not have been quite as "major" as I had thought, there--.
However--; your pitch-matching throughout the song--; still remains audibly "off--.".
Like I said--; start using a keyboard--; and start woodshedding your pitch-ear--.
