OMG your Yiayia's so cute. I remember when you came to my school and read the poem to my year level, I was one of the few Greeks and could relate to what you where saying. I remember trying so hard not to laugh or grin because I just got everything you said while my friends looked at me as if I was crazy. I never forgot this poem and I am so glad to have found this video with your Yiayia in it. Im not that into poetry but your poems stood out to me and I find them enjoyable keep up the good work. :p

The humour, the tenderness and respect you have for yiayia, her mistrust of medicine (Believing, like many Greeks, that things from the garden will fix you: myself included). I like the bond you have with your yiayia, well done. Cherish it man! I was always close to my yiayia and had a similar bond until she had advanced dementia and we had to put her into a nursing home. Yiayia's are precious, they remind us of where we come form, who we are and probably helped raised you the same way mine did with me & many others have. Yiayias are special, precious and cute. :)

My yiayia passed away yesterday just after the Holy Light. I love this video so much, very funny, and completely reminds me of my yiayia. I also fully agree with what she says at the end of the video about Doctors and medicine. I follow @medicalmedium on Instagram and I think this video should be sent to him, he will love it and most likely share it on one of his social media accounts. Truly love this video from start to finish, I wish you all the very best.
