I have been free of Microsoft for years now. I started with doul booting but last several years I just install Linux and have forgetting about windows! Is there a Linux program i can suggest?
@@RobbieStrike The biggest problem I have is iPhone comparability, I'll get it to work work for a while until an update breaks it. A program called Dukto is a good work around that transfers files over the network but its still cumbersome compared to just plugging the phone in. The second issue is getting my wife to come to the other side, im working on it though lol.
I used to have that back in the olden days when I had an old iPod. That's one thing I do like about the Android phones is the compatibility with Linux that I find. I love standard USB ports that I can buy it at a dollar store. For the longest time for me was being able to do video capture and editing but now I have solutions for that.
I used to use rhythmbox box to put MP3s on an iPod . And I remember every now and again have new go into my Windows computer just to reformat the iPod. After that iPod I never bought an Apple product again. And none of the Apple Fans gave me one.
@@RobbieStrike If it wasn't for work providing me an iPhone Id definitely get an Android. Its ridiculous that you cant just plug in and pull pictures off, The Bluetooth isn't standard either, I can no longer use it for my Bluetooth OBD2 car dongle. What have you been using for your video editing? Ive been trying out Openshot and it seems to be pretty promising now that some of the bugs are getting worked out.
Thank you, I love Linux mint, 20.3, In any version, I never could slow the mouse, until now! fixing a target was Very difficult before, * I set scrolling to 'ON', Custom sensitivity to 'Low', THANK you
Hola gracias por tu aporte, no encontraba como solucionar el no funcionamiento de la función táctil del touchpad, hasta que se me ocurrió buscar en inglés y ahí apareció como primera opción tu video. Gracias
dog, if someone managed to install mint onto a machine on their own, they know how to hit the windows key and type mouse.... HOW DO YOU FIX THE SENSITIVITY OUTSIDE OF THE USELESS SLIDER
The problem for me is that the click function was completely cancelled once I upgraded to Linux Mint 20.3. Please, help! So, while I can move around on my pad it doesn't let me click on anything, so I am stuck. I cannot even shut down my computer, nor close the window I have open (My Computer). Please, please, help me! What can I do?
Chrome stack? I don’t think you understood what I said: I cannot click on anything. That means I cannot open anything nor close. I need manual commands that can be executed through the keyboard instead of my touchpad. Thanks though!
@@RobbieStrikeI do not have a mouse so I can’t do that. This is a laptop, so the only thing available is the touchpad that the laptop came with. Which is not working 🤣 So, again, some manual keyboard commands would be welcome. Otherwise nothing can help me. And no, I ain’t gonna buy a mouse just for this. There must be a way to solve what the version of Linux Mint I updated to messed up with, which is my touchpad
Hey, success! I thought I'd have to download some exotic bit of Windows code for my Linux-based laptop. It wasn't 'till you showed me the light, and the settings, that my jumping cursor problem vanished. OK, now if i could just get a girlfriend as easy as solving this problem.
I’ve been a mint user for quite a while now, I’m getting closer and closer to being Microsoft free.

@@suzilici Systemsettings > Mouse and Touchpad There should be a setting to disable the touch screen. Did you plug a mouse in and try that?
Also you can try if your using a laptop to press the FN function button and the F-Keys maybe you disabled a setting on the laptop

on my acer laptop, if you press f7 the thouchpad stops working. Does it have a shut off key?
Appreciate the the video thanks
