Well my ex-wife used to shave her legs, and the hair would always grow in course, dark and if left unshaven would grow long. When she stopped shaving, the dark course hairs started to fall out after a month and were replaced by fine, soft, very light(almost clear) hairs that wouldn't grow very long.
When you shave you're left with a section of hair and since you cut it where it was at its widest when it keeps growing you're left with a wider hair.
When left undisturbed you'll get a thin hair with a point rather than an overgrown stump.
This is assuming your DHT are normal for your gender

My family is super hairy when ever a boy in our family turns just 16 they can grow a legit full beard we have peachfuzz at like 9 a full mustache at 11 too.

How’s it a stupid myth if thousands of people experienced this? I shaved and started to grow hair from diff follicles, thicker, darker , coarser and it grew fast!

What you experience is the appearance of thicker hair because it's cut abrutly instead of being thin.
If you don't touch the hair follicle you can't possibly change the hair.
If you dould grow hair that way then bald men wouldn't be bald...

@@laylajackson99 Yeah, you're right about that. Many of these "experiments" are done in adolescence, precisely when hormones and the whole body are changing, so hair can get way stronger, but it's unrelated to how you cut it, or how many times.

Translucent hair that’s actually see through but looks blonde in the light. That’s why you may not be able to see your hair until you are in a well lit room. Peach fuz will shed away/fall out.
Transitional hair: Darkened peach fuz that is slightly thicker and darker, slightly more noticeable but still faint in appearance, the. Hair is maturing. The hair will shed away and fall out.
Terminal: thick full course hair that is dark, the hair follicle has matured and will produce this type of hair every time you shave. Terminal hair will still shed and fall out.
Try not to shave peach fuz this will not increase hair growth, it will leave bumps and in grown hairs on the face along with scaring.
If you want facial hair to grow faster try cleaning your face with Acne wash with soap and warm water to clear the follicles of dirt, you can exercise to increase testosterone which produces hair. Make sure to go outside and get sunlight this will provide you with vitamin D. Try not to get stressed this affects hair growth in a negative way.

According to Petra Haak-Bloem (Specialist at the Dutch national information center for genetics), red hairs are caused by a mutation in the MC1R gene. If you have two mutated genes it gives someone all red hair, but if you just have one then this can give you red hair in random areas. So if you've got red hair in your beard or a full face of red but brown or black hair on your head, then someone in your family at some point had red hair.
I do have some hairs on my head that are red so someone in my family had red hair interesting

Idk... I am 26 and I never shaved the sides of my face until last year, before I only shaved the moustache and chin and I only had beard on those places I shaved. Since I started shaving my sides I've been slowly growing more dark hair, before I only had thin hair on that area.

I have a question and I would greatly appreciate a correct response, I have black facial hair in spots that I don't think I've never shaved. Because naturally I don't have a full on beard rather than a thin noticeable one across the usual spot of facial growth. But recently I stated getting long black hairs that grow back in a matter of hours in unwanted places. My question is how can I get rid of it the most efficient way? Is constantly plucking the best way to go? I tried waxing but I think more started to come on.

I have a question.
Since you said that after shaving there is no information sent from the point of the cut, to the follicle, How is it possible for the follicle to know when to stop the hair production? (fx: Leg hair, Arm hair etc)
It never stops. It keeps growing n growing every day. The only reason ur leg hair isnt 10feet long is because hairs go through growth and shedding cycles so the hair only has so much life expectancy before it naturally sheds by falling out of the hair follicle. At that point a new hair starts to grow in the follicles bulb below the skins surface. The bulb is the base of the hair follicle. The bulb is where all ur blood vessels give the hair folicle nutrients which make the hair grow. I learned this in barber school. Every hair grows and sheds at different times so u never appear bald all at once or have hair that just grows forever- each individual hair sheds whens its completed all the growth cycles.

Nope, never eat sugar and i rock pimples all over my face and back.
I didn't say i had never eaten sugar, i said i never eat sugar as a habit. The last time i ate any sugary product was roughly 7 years ago and it didn't seem to remove my pimples. Taking short showers with cold water did seem to help significantly though.
Diet and cleansing your face don't affect acne.

My white hair is close to 1 feet and my natural hair colour is dark brown and the white hair from the first few inches is the dark brown colour and the rest is white. What does that mean?
I grew out my sides and chin and neck for over 3 months, the hairs went from vellus to transitional. I then shaved now my face is rough and has stubble after 1 week since i shaved. Hopefully it will grow thicker because before i never had stubble

Shaving makes your hair thicker in the sense that it allows your slower growing hair to catch up to your quicker growing hair. Shaving itself doesn't magically grant you more hair follicles.
I'm a 22 year old guy and my beard isn't as thicker as it should be. I have shaved only four times since I started getting em but the length and thickness always remained the same. The chin hairs are an inch longer but not really dark enough to make em noticeable. Also, the cheek bones have few hairs that are half an inch longer. Will my beard ever grow any thicker?
Why is hair so different depending on what part of the body it comes from? My head hair feels very thin, but my armpit hair feels somehow thinner, while my pubic hair feels really think, with my leg hair being in between

@FullSend been shaving with straight razor from past 3 months. Didnt see any new growth. Recently I have been on nofap. Its working I see some vellus coming in which were empty area. You need to massage face with single tub of water just massage it throughout follicles untill gets dry thats how it works.

Exactly. Unlike facial and head hair, body hair has longer periods of dormancy (rest), so the growth periods are shorter. It appears that the hair doesn’t grow until you shave it, but it just stops at a certain length, falls out, and gets replaced by a new hair.
