I agree with her that people are diss crediting Taylor but I never heard anyone do that to Dixie. Am i living under a rock or did i miss a drama or sum? The only thing I heard was her music sucks
okay so i get what dixie is trying to say (and by that i mean people making fun of her for writing songs abt how bad her boyfriend is/was eventhogh she's in a healthy and stable relationship) but the main criticism for her songs was about her *music* being bad or how she can't write songs or sing particularly well and since she'd already gained a following which made making and releasing music a lot easier for her. taylor on the other hand had good music, flawless songwriting and wasn't already famous before her debut album. in my opinion, dixie is mainly criticised for her privilege. taylor was criticised because of the misogyny and double standards.

Taylor worked hard for fame and deserves it, she didn't rise to fame for being pretty and flailing her arms around for 15 seconds. She writes incredible songs and sings amazingly
