What's it like living in NY? I visited NY for work once, so clearly I'm an expert. On the street, everyone is eyes forward, "Don't fuckin talk to me. WTF do you want?" Once you enter the office space for work, most people drop the hard mask and are some of the most genuine you'll meet.

Tbf he didn't say it was all sunshine and rainbows, he constantly talks about not talking to crazy people in the streets and stuff, he's only mentioned the fact that it all gets amplified when you have soooo many people living in a close proximity to each other. NYC is just so huge that (I imagine) it's a lot harder to deal with stuff and also 'once in a lifetime' events happen a lot more often than in a city with 100k people
