Quick tip: Just before, even assemble the submarine model, paint the cardboard edges in black with a permanent marker. It makes the submarine model, look so much better. I glued the cardboard pieces in place and the construction is so much sturdier. I even got the resin kit for some more realism and I embedded some neodymium magnets at the bottom of every piece. Then I glued some common magnet tape under the submarine at the places where the resin pieces would go to keep every piece in place. Next thing I'll certainly do is to paint figures, resin kit, weapons etc. I'm also looking for some better figure kit to maybe change those figures included in the retail version of the final product. Happy hunting to all!
I just got a copy of U-boot, and it's amazing to me that the model in this video stays together as well as it does. Every time I touch mine, it falls to pieces. I'm likely going to have to glue everything into place.
Thank you so much for this video, was tearing up my house looking for a missing piece and 40 seconds in figured it the one extra piece was supposed to be bent
Did you get a premium model or something? The model no way in hell is that sturdy or even fits together properly. If you manage to get it set, one lol at it and it falls apart let alone trying to maneuver figures on it
I got my copy today, but my u boot falls apart even when i'm just looking at it. the spaces cut out of the cardboard are bigger than the cardboard thickness :( and i'm also missing the 3 pips for the meters assembly
Mine is very dark too... and even worse, the locking mechanism is no way as stiff and precise as in the video, resulting in the model wobbling around and dismantling continuously. I'm seriously thinking of applying some vinyl glue to keep it together.
Wow, that thing is bigger than I expected. Looking forward to it! One question: Can the 3 pieces be stored fully assembled including tower and equipment in the box? Or do you have to assemble them every time?

i think the resin makes it unplayable
@@usswasp6530 No, it's ok. There's space for figures too

What a good game!
I hadn't noticed the holes for the hatches between sections before - nice touch!

I've glued the pieces. Now i got three main pieces tha fit (sort of) in the box. I'm happy with the result.
Somebody get me a lobster bib (uncontrolled drooling commences...)
on my copy, the colors are really very dark... the details are hard to distinguish
WOW! So glad I backed this project.
Can't wait for it to get to South Africa!
jaw dropping... I'm stunned and glad I'm backer... whoa!
The cardboard parts that came with my game are much darker and harder to distinguish detail

The directions for model setup are awful. Just a poor picture in the book.
I wish you would have slowed this damn video down
