While in 2019 you have 6 cars braking that old record, 4 cars running 3m16s sighly faster than 2015 Porsche by fractions of a second (2 Rebellion and 2 Dallara under EoT "Equivalence of Technologies") and 2 Toyota doing a 3m15s. Technically, if we take off BoP and EoT, 2019/2020 should indeed be the fastest LMP1 cars, and thus, fastest prototypes in history, not counting the illegal 919 Evo of course, but Toyota themselves or Audi could also do a car like that with ease. Porsche simply had the time and fun in doing it. I was a massive F1 fan, but after the regulation changes in 2014, the sport for me really took a nose dive, and from that point I started paying more attention to the WEC. I truly started at about 2009 but it was mainly Le Mans (and I think WEC only started in 2012, before that I think it either didn't exist or the endurance championship had some other name IIRC). Nice to talk to a fellow WEC fan as well, and massive respective for the apology, usually I would have it at it against kids acting high and mighty but you recognized immediately you didn't act "right". I hope they make a Group 1 championship as well. A total of 7 races with a various number of laps for each track depending on the size of the track or have them as endurance like races for half hour each or so.
Hypercars are slower than lmp1, Alpine is currently leading the championship but they lack top speed so if they don't fix this issue Toyota might be the winner again at Le mans.

The 2017 Toyota TS050 is probably the fastest LMP1 in history but it is debateable if we take into account that 2019/2020 LMP1 were under BoP most of the championship.
And when they were not under BoP they were as fast or even slightly faster than 2017 and 2015 LMP1.
For example at Silverstone 2019 Toyota ran faster than 2017 Toyota, while Rebellion and Dallara ran as fast the 2017 Toyota and Ginetta which was the slowest of top LMP1 that season still ran faster than the 2017 Porsche and all LMP1 pole from 2016 and before.
At Spa 2019 Toyota ran 1:53.6 as same as Porsche and Toyota in 2017.
At Le Mans 2019 all top LMP1 ran faster than Porsche old qualifying record from 2015 which only one Toyota (driven by Kobayashi) managed to brake back in 2017 and only one Toyota in 2018 (driven by Nakajima) all other drivers regardless of the car in 2017 and 2018 did 3m17 or slower meaning slower than Porsche pole in 2015.
Anyway it is nice to see a fellow WEC freak xD
@@arkeusalexander9054 Yes, it was only a given that the post-2017 cars would be faster but they had to be under the BoP regulations which was obviously nerfing them, especially the Toyota, compared to the Rebellion and the Dallara.
The Audi in 2015 was a downforce freak. Remember it always having the edge on the Porsche in the more technical corners but Porsche would always come back on the high speed corners and straights.
Massive respect for that mate.
Let's hope the LMH gets as good as LMP1. It has all the conditions to be so, won't even care if the cars are slower but even that deficit with the years passing, teams will eventually catch up with further development.
Seeing this in person was actually pretty cool a couple months ago
I hope they make a Group 1 championship as well. A total of 7 races with a various number of laps for each track depending on the size of the track or have them as endurance like races for half hour each or so.
Im very curious about the upcoming 24h le Mans. Really wanna know how fast this car goes then.
Hypercars are slower than lmp1, Alpine is currently leading the championship but they lack top speed so if they don't fix this issue Toyota might be the winner again at Le mans.
@@shaggy5561 👋🏻
we haven’t even had a Gr.1 daily race and they outlawed every car by adding this OP car lol
Well i don't think it's OP maybe the 919H can beat it (i have it and it's a monster, but the Battery always deplete a lot faster)
4:53 the car turn left before the steering wheel
"driving simulator" ahaahahahah
I think he use the controller
Nice 3:23.437 the real car did a 3:23.900 in qualifying last year! For comparison the R18 did a 3:25.738 in 2011 and the R18 e-tron quattro did a 3:23.787 in 2012.
2017 Toyota lmp2 did a 3:14.7 😯

Great car with a lot of potential but It understeers heavy on midspeed corners .

The steering motion in the cockpit bothers me a bit, am i the only one ?

Its a good and fast car.
Just i have questions with the hybrid system. Its almost not going down, its like the car have a packet of batterys that have longer endurance more then the porsche.
wtf bro the quality is better than my eyes

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 in a row baby!
Great car, but I prefer cars with higher downforce on this track! it's just so much fan to take the porsche curves flat!
Rev Sound has similar to Moto2 or Three-Cylinder Middleweight Supersport machine
Almost sound like a Ferrari fxxk a little bit but I'm going to wait to get Gran Turismo 7 I want to see what cars they add down the road before I get the game
You drive like a pro
I absolutely hate how the steering wheel moves. Why not just make it turn with the wheels like it normally would... the delay is just awkward at best
Sound nice with headphone on
I'm surprised it has more hybrid power than the other Gr.1 cars.
It only deploys bellow 250kmph
@@DanielFenandes Automatic or only with overtake button maybe?
@@kkkutkip there is no manual deployment for this car

Car’s speed is not bad, quite happy with it
I need to know one thing. hopefully someone can help me. When in this video the car takes a curve I see the side and how it moves on its axis. I have also seen this in some other video. In my game when I turn a corner, I don't see the car move, like I'm controlling a box. do i have to change any settings?
The new physics made this thing understeery! This video is from May last year so the cars were grippy at the time so it turned better!

Did they bother to include literally any single player events for cars faster than Gr3 yet? Cool car but kinda pointless given what the game has to offer.
This car is badass
A bit op ? 2016 lmp1 cannot reach more than 320 since the start of this game and are normally faster than this but this can do 340 + ?
This car has significantly less downforce and the 2016 LMP1s stock spec runs pretty high downforce. Solution, just put together a low downforce setup for your LMP1s.
More ICE power compared to LMP1, the difference in the times with the older cars was that the P1s had more downforce, but not more top speed
@@Official_MikeyT already did, it is better but i would have loved a bit more top speed in stock

Lol the TS050 should be the last car. It's a better performing car than the GR10.
Yeah, well... fastest lap of GR010 at LeMans is a 3:23.900. Fastest lap of TS050 (which is the lap record at LeMans) is a 3:14.791. But GR010 is newer, so...
How to use hybrid perfectly

It does but you have to do custom grid! But you need to buy the cars you want to race with but once you do It's really fun! I bought the real LMP1s, Hypercars, and GTEs and put WEC Liveries on them!
