This might be an unncessary comment, but; 24 with crop factor translates to something like 36 mm on a full frame. I’m quite drawn to the anamorphic look, but can’t afford many lenses at the moment, so I’d have to choose one. I’m guessing 24 would be the most versatile, as I shoot almost everything around 35 mm.
@@kilobittifor me it depends on the room you have to film. For example, when filming my daughter taekwondo tournaments, sometimes there is no room to separate the camera and the fighters. And even trying to gives too much room for people to think, they will just slide in between the tripod and what I am filming. With the 35, I need to be further away and that doesn’t work in smaller venues and that takes the headroom away. Width is always fine but without the headroom there is a lot more tracking and lost coverage so the 24 is the one for this scenario. Other tournaments the venue is so spacious that I can stand off further and use the 35. IMO, both are needed in order to be dynamic in the environment you’re filming in.

@@HyperspeedMedia Have been using it with tracking focus using the dji 3d focus system ua-cam.com/video/C8Pp3eSblds/v-deo.html - Take a look. All of the shots are shot on DJI ronin RS2 using that 3d focus system with sirui lenses. Mostly 24mm
Love the video man. But I wanted to ask a question. Do these lenses come with an E-mount for the Sony a7c or do you need to buy a separate adapter L. If there is a separate adapter please tell which one it is. I’m thinking of buying these lenses myself but I can’t find any with an E-mount. Especially the 24mm.
Bro, you deserve so many more views. This is an actual video people interested in anamorphic lenses should watch. Amazing real comparison
Legendary video, deserves many more likes and subs, because this helped me a ton! Thanks!
Glad it helped! :)
Awesome comparison.
im torn between 24 and 35 i used to think 35mm was better for cinematic look but 24 also looks very good, great vid
35 is my favorite one. But the 24 looks incredible with that new sirui 1.25x adapter. Will post a video soon! :)

Prieks dzirdēt! Paldies! :)
Thank you mate, your effort deserves way more views and interactions❤️
Thank you! Happy to hear that you think so! :)
Beautiful work man! I love the colours you got. Was this shot in slog or HLG?
I believe I captured this in cine4 but I might be wrong. Might be slog
Hey video is great very informative thank you, does the 35mm is aps/c ? so assuming 35mm x 1.5 crop factor on A7C?
All of those are apsc lenses and all of the shots were captured in super 35 mode on the a7c :)
@@TheSkyHighFilms thanks!
@TheSkyHighFilms Do you lose any stops having to go into Super35 vs full frame?
Awesome video! Perfect presentation!
Glad you liked it!
I can't decide over 23 or 35. Is the. 24 distorted when close up? Thanks
Great video. Thank you for your work.
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Awsome video! my fav i think its 50mm i love transition from first part of video :)
Glad you like it! :)
Mine I guess is the 35 and 75... The 75 gives very nice oval bokeh!
@@TheSkyHighFilms There is magic inside the 35mm. My fav... :)
Do you have a problem 1.33x with A7C ?? . A7C is Full-Frame. 1.33x make it "Black Border" ??
A7c does have s35 mode
I love it all
Great Comparison. Did you have trouble with the squeeze? I've heard that the squeeze factor change when you change the focus???
Yes, that is true, but it's minimal and in my opinion it's totally fine for the price...
@@TheSkyHighFilms okay thanks
@@TheSkyHighFilms it's gonna be a nightmare for racking focus.. I dunno yet, Might have to wait for the release of the new Laowa lens
