I love these videos, Eddie! You're a great teacher, and the "huge reward" at the end is well worth the effort to stay, play, and learn!
Thanks Casey...glad you had fun with the Reward!
I ordered two of your mandolin books after I finished the Pentatonic Jamming video. YOU ROCK!
Thank you, glad you have found it helpful.
Love your videos
You've done a great job Eddie. Thank you for this video. 👍
Looks like you are working your way through the series...I hope it's helping.
@@EddieCollinsMusic Yes, it is. The Pentatonic Scale patterns will assist me in creating a solo or break rather than my current futile attempts to improvise. Was there a Lesson 3..? 👍
Marvelous as always. Great instructions.
Much Appreciated!
Great info lesson!
I love these lessons and it doesn’t hurt that you look like a combo of Billy Bob Thornton and Brian Cranston. Seriously, these are making me a better player without a doubt.
Great that you're able to apply the concepts to your playing. Thanks for sharing that.
I love the fireworks and the applause!🤠
I'm sure you earned with some great jamming!
Great lesson Eddie!
Thanks Josh, glad you're finding it useful.
Thanks Eddie, useful content!
Glad it was helpful.
Nice. Thank you👍🏻🎼🎸
Would you recommend learning the major scale first for a beginner? Thanks in advance
Yes, I do that in the first video of this series. It helps you understand where the notes come from and better trains your fingers to find "all the notes" that you eventually need. Pentatonics simply give you safe, easier notes to play.
Wait what? I love that strap at the peg instead of on the Scroll What kind is that??
There's a small slot that goes over the E tuning peg. This isn't the exact model, but is the same design: www.elderly.com/collections/all/products/el-dorado-mandolin-strap
Weres next lesson
I have taken a detour with my "Creating Bluegrass Solos" series, but will get back to the pentatonic jamming before too long. Thanks for asking.
