they do look good. im just wondering why she thinks any of it is low carb, over 75% of the calories on each plate are from carbs. she even has a playe loaded with rice and beans and calls it low carb.
I love that you have canisters full of just dried peppers. This is when you know you’re serious about cooking with them. Thank you for sharing these recipes.
Have you heard of AL A MODE corn tortillas? I finally found the sight and bought them. I love them. And the carb count is 6 net carbs per 2 tortillas. They taste just like the regular ones. A bit of a difference.
Both dinners look delicious. I love them both but the one with the chicken and the egg mixed in is so different I would love to make i. Your recipes are always easy to find the ingredients we need. That's what I love. And the food is just the best you can eat. Thanks so much for sharing your Abuela's recipe with us. No wonder you're such a great cook. It's in the genes.👍😋
So glad for your channel. I ordered tacos and bean/cheese burritos from Taco B. a few weeks ago ...the most disgusting product ever put out. No more, i'm only making it from home from now on....back in the day when it was cheaper .. it wasn't horrible bad, but today the more it costs the worse it is ☹️. Thanks for your channel 👍🏼.
Thank you for the alternative recipes, I am diabetic and over weight even though I am very active and don't think I eat 'bad', I do eat alot of carbs. I have to eat w/o wheat as I am allergic to that. I found out recently that I have a hormone imbalance, my body does not produce ANY testosterone! AND that my thyroid does not work. Since getting those things treated, I have been feeling SO much better! Now I have decided to focus on cutting my carbs, sugar, by at least half. Increasing protein and fiber and not eating anything artificial. Since I now how energy and feel better I have been using my treadmill one mile a day. I hope over time I can lose 20 lbs and reverse the diabetes. Just starting that journey! Your recipes will help me alot! DO NOT listen to the naysayers, they can just go away! :)
Oh . . . my. This is amazing! Can’t wait to try those tortilla shells. I have tried SO MANY RECIPES OVER THE YEARS. I have always taken recipes and tried to make them low carb. Not always successful especially with the tortillas and the rice. I trust your taste buds and think that these will be as close as one can possibly get to the real thing. Thank you!
Love your recipes Angelica. We are avid campers so just a bit of a warning. If you are using a gas stove with a butane canister, the manufacturers recommend that the pot or pan is not so big that it is over the canister. And especially you are using cast iron. Please take care. Thank you for these delicious recipes.
I’m having to migrate to the low-carb diet now. And that is a very simple and great way to do both the rice and the quesadillas. Could even make it into a taco shell. Thank you very much.😊
For those needing to watch the starch/carbohydrates (like me, now) if you cook and then refrigerate your rice, potatoes, pasta (any starch) it converts the starch into resistant starch. Even after reheating, it remains resistant starch.
I know you are kind of heading in a different direction with quick and easy recipes, just don't forget some of us fell in love with you from your made from scratch recipes. Really they are all good, I just prefer not to use canned premade stuff. However, in a pinch these recipes are really nice. And! Still looking forward to your second cookbook!
isn't rice already gluten free? Millet would be alot more expensive to buy than rice and not as readily available, I don't know if I've ever seen it at my regular grocery store?
Toasting the dry chilies really makes no sense as it makes them bitter. It would be better cooking the paste in oil afterwards. I love how you store your chilies!
@@CVenza If you remove the seeds first, lightly toasting adds so much flavor and no bitterness. I toast mine in the oven and then grind to make a wonderful chili powder.
You just lost me on this channel. You have such great recipes and trying to do low carb stuff I'm not about that. Everything is eating in moderation carbohydrates are good for the brain and we need them. Also meat proteins. Check yourself on your videos cuz I love all your videos I don't know who's asking you to go down this this path.
Girl who tf are you to tell her to “check herself”? This is ONE video, prob by request. Obvs if everyone is doing it must mean other people besides You want these type of ideas! And yes we need all macros but some folks like DIABETICS have to watch their numbers! Adapt as you please or skip these recipes, it’s not like she’s now a keto channel 🙄
Love all your recipes, Angelica, but appreciate the occasional lower carb ideas! Thanks!

Good looking out. 😊 Thank you! 🙏🏼
You can buy a butane stove with an extended deck. I have one and the extra real estate helps. 😁
@@SuzanneWho thank you. I didn’t know that.
Love the idea of adding V8! You’re a really good cook!!!❤❤❤
Love the high protein low carb meals especially because they are for one. 😊
I’m going to make the Mexican rice with v8 juice this week. I want to try it. Thanks for sharing.
I'm the only one in my family that tries to eat low- carb.. thanks for the recipes.
Yeah, I kind of rotate low carb, and then high fiber, or just comfort food. It just depends on what people ask for or what I feel like cooking. 😊
Everything looks amazing. I like these low-carb recipes you are doing.
Glad you like them!
Loving these recipes that are high protein/low carb and enough for one meal!

Yum!!! Looks so delicious! 🤤❤
That chicken cheese “taco” would be bomb with some of the beans too!
Yummy.
I absolutely love your food recipes. I am now on a very low sodium diet, and I have found so many ways to adjust recipes accordingly.

Oh my. These look amazing. I am gonna have to see if I can recreate them on my channel if that’s ok with you?
Cool hack I’m the quesadilla

Yum. Being disabled, I use organic salsa that I purchase.
Yummy 😋 from Barbara 😊

do you know of any recipes for those potatoes you get from off the food truck that comes with street tacos? im on a search.
Are they just plain diced potatoes or have a reddish color to them?
Reddish color
I LOVE taco bells potato soft taco, oh, please, do you have a recipe to make those??
I wonder how millet would be cooked like Mexican rice. Millet is full of protein and is gluten free

what does it cost you to be nice.

No one has to ask Angelica to do anything. If she wants to change things a bit, she can! Her channel, HER videos. No one is forcing you to watch.
Quit being a hater. She wants to be healthier for her family and self. She can cook, eat whatever she wants. She’s not making it for you.
Some of us appreciate low carb ideas. I think it's great that she's appealing to everyone.
