when No Mercy and Rain sound came out, Jongup was 17 y.o. so yeah he was a baby😅 looking back you really see how Jongup grew so much. In first years he barely had a line or two. it was hard time for us, his stans. in their documentary that came out this year, Youngjae said that before the debute he was wondering why they kept Jongup, because he couldn't sing, rap and even his dancing skills were not that good(I know he intended to roast Jongup at the time, but it was mostly true). Jongup one time cried because he wasn't happy with himself and Yongguk told him that he should go on and do the best he could. and he did. he worked hard and look at him now🙌
in February 2025, Jongup's turning 30, and he hasn't completed military service, so I guess we won't see their comback any time soon. but I don't know for sure. it's just a guess

For some reason my comments did not show up, so I'll just say this, until people say " oh we don't talk about him" or " he can off himself" they first need to take the blame because they create everything that exists with their "love" himchan was forced to perform in a wheelchair and everyone loved him then, he made his thoughts clear and Everyone loved him, then he was accused of something he said was consensual and tried to off himself, then people went and pushed him to actually commit the crime, everyone acts like a saint and erases monsters they create, anyway, peaceeee.
@@k.d.6068 I don't think anyone "pushed him" to sex assault anyone, he did that on his own. Yes, he went through a lot but all the other members suffered too and no one else became a criminal. I don't agree with hate speech, but Himchan's crimes are really serious and, not only the victims, a lot of people were hurt because of them, including the B.A.P members. I don't know how well informed you are about the charges, but what he did, specially towards the third victim, is unforgivable. However, even the worse criminals are still human and don't deserve to be told they should off themselves and the like... I tend to side with the victims and give the perpetrators the benefit of the doubt (innocent until proved guilt), but in his case, I knew he was guilty once he said "implied consent" because that's something that doesn't exist, sadly most men tend to not understand that. Anyway, I never really liked Himchan much, he made me uncomfortable, he was my sister bias so I can understand your feelings and I'm sorry you can't move on from him yet. I hope you will be able to let him go with time.
