i was there at that game yesterday, and the cat was the most exciting thing for rockies fans in the whole last 3rd of the game.

Probably the best thing the crowd can do is quiet down whenever a stadium cat dashes out onto a field.
They don't like noise or large crowds of people. Makes them nervous and disoriented.
But it is quite the show to see a critter interrupt the game.

Sports stadiums have feral cats to keep the rodents population down.
They don't have them, the cats just live there. The stadiums don't purposely put cats in there, it's against health code.

@@gomerhanger2285 A cat with a collar can still go anywhere as most all cats often do. But stadiums won't specifically purchase cats and just set them loose. Imagine the bad press and simple abusive act that would be in itself. Health codes also would also conflict with food vendors and fans that could be allergic. Look up "MetLife black cat among 300 feral felines living inside stadium". (I've worked for several hockey teams and have looked into this after the famous Pawvelski incident, and that cat was actually adopted by one of the players). Sorry, but you're wrong about them being purposely "brought in".

There is something weird going on with all these cat videos at sports games all the cats seem to be like breathing hard
they really shouldn't scruff older cats, theyre heavier than kittens, so it would only restrict their breathing. and it looks like the cat is already gasping for air in the first place.

From the cats posture, it looks like it was really stressed out about something. Hopefully it didn't have rabies because that wasn't normal cat behavior. The cat should be tested and possibly the girl who "rescued" it.
The cat looks malnourished. I hope the cat was given food and water and rescued.

Cats get extremely nervous around large crowds of people, and folks cheering at it only makes it worse.
I've seen that same sort of posture with other stadium cats that get caught the same way, from time to time.
Chances are, things are just that simple. Just very tired, nervous, and confused, making it naturally defensive.
Though, yeah, it's still a good idea to go get that lady checked, if not just for cat-scratch fever alone.

Cats can run for long. If you can keep them in an open space they'll get exhausted and stop. Ask any coyote.
