    Fiiinnnnaaalllyyy some one did this. Actually broke em up and intelligently explained this. Thank you!

    This was so helpful. Especially when you actually broke the minerals down to see where the minerals fracture.

    Thank you for this. I learn much better from showing vs telling and now I've turned a corner in understanding this!!

    Thank you so much!! 5 days reading about cleavage and fractures and I couldn’t understand what you easily explained and demonstrated in 50seconds!! Amazing!! Thank you!!

    This video is incredibly informative!! And honestly should have more likes and views. I understood the differences a lot better with this short video than a 1hr lecture from my teacher! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! :)

    I have a geology exam this week and cleavage was confusing me. Thank you for breaking it down and helping me understand!

    Very efficiently explained the fractures and cleavage. Even i ,a professor of physiology(not geology😊) could understand because you actually demonstrated by doing it rather than theoritical approach.
    Thanks and my regards. Looking forward to more such videos.

      OOOOOO MMMMMMM
      Very helpful video, and I can tell you're passionate about the subject, which makes me feel the same way. You have a very eloquent speaking style. I really appreciate you because it's rare to meet someone who is so enthused about rocks. I aspire to be as enthusiastic about something as you are about your work. I will be doing my best to model you one day.

    isnt octohedral like that because the mineral in the rock forms like that like amethyst forms like it does

    • @TMartScience
      @TMartScience  Рік тому

      Amethyst is a variety of quartz. It is NOT octahedral. There are a few types of minerals that can have an octahedral habit in the way crystals grow... For example, Galena sometimes has octahedral forms. But definitely not quartz.

    It hurt watching the destruction of such beautiful rocks but I guess sacrificing a few for science is acceptable. Thank you.
