Hey Eric,I’ve been following you for a while and greatly appreciate your content. If you don’t mind, I need some help. I’m on next Gen Xbox X. I click the right stick to pull up coaching adjustments. Yeah everyone else has remedial ways of explaining shit let alone they just scream in the mic.
Man I always run the dime but I mix it up with other formations. I was failing the 3rd combine challenge over and over. I watched this video and ran dime exclusively mixing in blitz and zone and I won. First game after watching this I beat them by a TD. I think final score was 55-62.
They had 59 seconds left and I sacked Mahomes for a fumble in the final play of the game. Epic win, thanks for the video!
A good way to get your safeties down is to use the show blitz mechanic

bring up the coverage menu presnap and it move the leftstick to the right which will but them in show blitz
Idk if its just me but playing man against tight formations is almost impossible this year unless I get immediate pressure on the qb. They usually destroy it easily
Thats just part of playing man coverage dog. You win some you lose some.
Thank you for actually showing blitz’s that aren’t Nano blitz’s. Can’t even use a nano blitz in most Franchises

Dallas Defense Mid MLB blitz ( two MLB hovering LOS) take the defender manning the RB and hover the Center
Great tip but if a seasoned player is your opponent they can run a zig in the slots and open all day.
Nickel is the safest bet with the 3-3-5 especially cover 4 blitzing LB’s for 3Rd and long.
You can say that about any defense bro. You would just start changing your cloud flats to hard flats or leaving them in man and outside shading or both to really stop it. Its all a mind game
Or instead of a hot route you could just press X or square to audible and press the cover 2 or cover 3 man or whatever you want
Eric will EA add the pat patriot midfield logo in madden 24 for the patriots they did it for the browns last year so hopefully they will do this for the pats if they do this then the pats will be MY faverote madden team this year

On the cover 2 made blitz, would it not be easier to just select cover two and blitz the LBs and the slot corner?
Blitz angles wouldn't be the exact same so it's not as consistent.

Hey off topic I was curious if anyone is aware about the draft class bug where every player has the same physique (ie,a 300Ib lineman has the same arms as a 190 cb) and if anyone has any information If ea will be fixing it

The fact that you have to make 6-8 adjustments per play just to be be able to play defense in this game is ridiculous. Might as well bring create a play back so you don't have to do this bullshit every play. Lol

After you set up the defense, then Shade defense over top (Y/Triangle, Up on Right Stick).
This is so dumb… if you’re playing against another human, or on AllMadden.. you’re gonna be burnt to a crisp in your secondary.
Furthermore, god forbid they run the ball against your dime look… you’ll be gashed to hell.
I just commented this to a comment above this one lol gashing and slashing easy... and on top of that u can literally get them out this formation by separating your receivers or going trips with a simple flat or corner route.

Everyone used that defense against me on every previous Madden - and I always beat it with quick crossing routes audibles with the inside receivers 😂
I'm about done with this game. Too much money for super linebackers to be back in the game. Throwing a pass that a linebacker legit has no shot of intercepting with a receiver pretty far behind him that ball is pretty far in the air to go over him regardless if he jumps but noooo this man jumps 5 ft in the air to pick it off. Come on Madden y'all got rid of super linebackers before only for them to be back again smh

I want to offer some advice. If you want people to take your Madden tip videos seriously, then you have to post some competitive gameplay man. Rather its MUT or Fantasy Draft leagues, something, anything against good players. Join a pro league and put some winning content out there and people will actually take u more serious. As of now, I am clicking on KMAC or tdbarrett every time. No hate, just a suggestion.
My tip videos get the most views on UA-cam and have for years. I don't mean any disrespect when I say this, but I would say people take them pretty seriously. I don't think people would keep coming back and keep subbing if my videos weren't helping them. If you prefer Kmac or TD that's completely fine, there's plenty of good content out there to help you get better. But to say the top tip guy on UA-cam isn't taken seriously just doesn't make sense to me. I've also never claimed to be the best or be a pro, I mostly aim to help beginners and intermediate players.
@@EricRayweather I respect it man. Do you, you have good content. Just trying to give a different view point to draw in the players that aren't necessarily beginners, or players that actually want to watch other good players. For instance, I would not watch a YT video of a guy showing tips and tricks in practice mode over guys showing tips and tricks against good players/pro's. In my mind, it is easy to manipulate the CPU, but not so easy to do against a disguised defense from a high IQ player. Hope this insight helps in some way. Again, absolutely no disrespect was meant.
I feel you, but practice mode is how this game has been taught for over 20 years. It's the easiest way to break the game down for everybody. What unfolds in a real game is a lot more on your actual ability as a player. It's about how you adjust to what's happening, but the information you need to get there is still the same. Once you're on the field, the info can only take you so far against a good player, but you can't really teach how to execute at a high level, that's something you have to develop on your own. I can't compete with all the pros, but I still know and can teach the information. It's like NFL players, they're better at their craft than their coaches but they still need coaches.
