    Where a highly skilled operator and the right tool is employed there is magic. Only you Tim can appreciate the steps and time saved here.

    That's another-other level of productivity, a sick camera angle capturing the sawdust spray on the log bucking. This setup is Money.

    You are just having too much fun cuttin' up the way you are. BTW saw dust also known as man glitter or summer snow is always nice to see.

    Seems almost unfair being able to position that thing any way you want. Quite the advancement from the dangle mount you cut your teeth on.

    Have you tried piecing out a tree with it yet? Obviously probably can't take super tall trees

    How often will you have to change/sharpen chain on that unit?

    • @hunterharper1891
      @hunterharper1891 5 місяців тому

      Probably need to sharpen every other job I would think

    • @cotontop3
      @cotontop3  5 місяців тому

      @hunterharper1891 I would often run a chain for multiple months on my other grapple saws without sharpening. This thing isn't like a chainsaw chain and remember it's a hydraulic motor pulling it also. If all your cutting is wood, a 404 semi chisel will run a very long time on a sharpen.

    You could weld a piece on the end of that saw cover where a long pin would slip in to to use as a guide for cutting uniform firewood

    • @bryanchipps6572
      @bryanchipps6572 5 місяців тому

      Or a small piece of chain

    • @cotontop3

      You are right, there are several options I could do for chopping firewood. 😁
