Considering how much Tom Baker was said to have absolutely hated the K-9 prop, that smile from the end of The Invasion of Time is single-handedly the BEST acting by anyone ever.
theres a interview of Baker, the 3rd and the 5th talking with a BBC interviewer. Anyway the point is, in the interview, Back and the 3rd Doctor talk about women on Doctor Who. The tird Doctor was a ragging sexist, he HATED Elisabeth (Sarah Jane) To paraphrase "....my role is that of a mother hen. I have my cloak to shield the fair lady. Come along my dear, follow me and such. And then Elizabeth came along, sarah jane, with these ideas and opinions. I was against this and said, she goes or I do." When Baker was asked about a female Doctor in the future, he said, and i quote. "a female Doctor? ARE YOU MAD MAN!?!?!? Its called DOCTOR who. Not Nurse Who. Dear Lord its bad enough we let them vote. Look at how that went for the country!" Yet Baker, when Jodie "straight men need not watch my run" Whitiker took over, even Baker took to acting once more on twitter with "its about time for change and not a moment too soon." Stunning and brave, stunning and brave. Of course, the BBC purged that interview from youtube entirely.

Pertwee has the best cliffhanger facial expressions. Meanwhile Colin Baker probably has the funniest cliffhangers coz they're so abrupt like they end the episode mid-sentence.
The reason Baker’s are so weird is that his first season’s stories were originally two double-length episodes, but they were edited into four regular-length episodes for other markets (I think the USA)?
No he doesn't. Colins cliffhangers are all cliffhangers. The episodes were 45 minutes in length for his first season. Of course, time it at the 25 minute mark and you will be stopping mid sentence, but they were NEVER the cliffhangers.
@SmallvillenerdTwo That doesn't even exist in Classic Who. What you are laughably trying to recreate is the cut 'Blackpool' line at the end of 'Revelation of the Daleks'..... yes, the END, so hardly counts as a cliffhanger and it was a post edit cut which makes the example even more weak...NEXT!
To be fair, the cliffhangers in the Colin Baker Episodes resulted from editing down the original 45 min episode length to 25 minutes to fit American syndication formats.
@@meirayyeah the season 23 ones were done like that for Australian TV apparently. The actual series 23 cliffhangers usually zoomed in on Colin's face haha
The cliffhanger for Battlefield is particularly cursed, because at one point, the stunt almost went horribly wrong.
