@ the 2:52 mark you showed the front fender well. It is very open to the motor bay. I wonder if there is a better well liner to prevent all the road grime from splashing into the motor bay. Would be worth the money.
I have the same thing without the chrome ;) It definitely wants to run, from 0-30 it chomps at the bit to let loose. That V-8 and Transmission just want to get it! Imma slap a Flowmaster Super !0 exhaust on it, love the way that exhaust sounds, then a leveling kit with some 285's on it.
Great looking truck! I just got the SuperCrew XL (I have kids). I noticed you have the same "issue" under the hood LOL. They dealership or the factory leaves all the ripped masking tap on ALL the wiring. It was just used to keep the harnesses from tangled, but then no one ever pulls it off before the truck is sold. I love my truck though. That 5.0 is mean. I'm at 1600 miles now.
Unless you have a family to haul around, this is the way to.go. im on my 3rd shorty. Buy now most manufacturers are not making them anymore. My2021 took 3months to get . You have to get used to a little different ride quality in a shorty. Enjoy!!!!

Aye bro I just ordered myself a reg cab 5.0 and I was thinking about going down the whipple road and my question is were you able to order it from ford or did you have to buy it aftermarket
@pitbullterrier4090 it looks like the only engine option available for the Chevy 1500 RCSB is the 2.7 turbo, the 4 bangers. I'd pick the Ford for the engine options, the 10 speed and diff gear options. Ford all the way.
In 2012 I bought a F150 XLT V8 5.0 for 28.000 broke it in real slow and she still runs brand new today Nice truck
