Stunning up there once away from the ski crap Peter, great views everywhere you look. Nearly crashed at the weekend bud, driving along and a bloomin great map of all things blew onto the windscreen haha. Great trip as always. Take care. Mick.
Aye Mick the ski mince does spoil it a wee bit at the start, But it can be avoided mostly. Nearly crashed?! jeeso Mick an with a map too!!! LOL! Take care big man!!!!
I was driving across Rannoch Moor once and a caravan going in the opposite direction ran its nearside wheel off the road and suddenly turned over. Because it was an old van made of batten and thin aluminium sheet it immediately broke up and showered the road with debris.
climbed these for the second time a few years ago, instead of returning by the same route decided to descend via the Sorn, BIG mistake, not recommended for the faint of heart.
Funny you mention that route as i was heading back from Creise to Meall a, Bhuiridh via the the ridge in between they two Munros i met a party of 5 walkers who asked me about descending down via Sron na Criese i suggested not but they seemed hell bent on trying it, I often wonder how they got on as they didnt look like they had maps etc and two didnt have boots on either!
Thanks for that, Aye its a good wee route this one. I had mixed feelings beforehand because of the ski centre stuff, But it did surprise me how good it was. Cheers for taking time out to watch and comment, peter.
Thank you for the congratulations on my 100 Peter! We have to see when you will catch up with me, yes - this summer maybe? You lost your map - was that on this hill here? Pity. Over here I especially loved the little ridge between the two hills. And great views over the Rannoch moor to the east eh?
Hi Pete I see you got the views on this one! June in England was terrible just rain for pretty much a month, superb weather you got. I have not managed to do anything over 3000ft for a year now due to a back problem, hoping to do something soon. You have an amazing grasp of the munro's maybe do a bit of mountain guiding? Will always remember you video of the ring of steale (spelt wrong) what an adventure that was! Stunning views on this one though mate, its another great advert for the highlands. :) Tim
Hi Tim thanks for the nice words mate. Well we now have rotten weather up here(rain) And after falling off my mountain bike i have damaged nerves in my neck/shoulder area so i have to go easy for a wee while. But i have some holidays coming up so hope to get out and about again ASAP! Cheers Tim hope your back gets better soon mate.
Awesome video & foties mate, stunning day you had for that How long did that take you?? Daft question, Is there a descent from the second cairn on Creise instead of having to retrace your steps again How many Munros have you bagged

Cheating bastards ...lol.....great view.....well done
Cheers paul, I think i was just jealous that they found the easy path, In fact that was the people who were paragliding from one of the lower tops.
Wishful thinker. If you had a drone, you could film yourself in action without having to go back and pick up the camera each time!
