Ovechkin could carry Gretzky's jock, he has done nothing for hockey outside of Washington DC, the only place you see Ovechkin is standing just outside the face off circle on the power play, he never carries the puck up ice or very seldom see him passing it, a One Trick Pony who turtled to media when Russia bombed the snot out of Ukraine

Have you ever seen Ovi play in his prime? He was one of the fastest skater in the league and scored tons of goals off the rush similar to how Mackinnon does. As he got older and lost his speed and skating ability, he has to rely on his one timer on the powerplay, but he's still scoring. That's how good his shooting ability is
