Is the concept of recording shaves, cuts, massages, etc still new or strange around the world? Indian and Turkish places have had people recording for years now. I wonder if it’s novel in other areas. Great vids though :)
Well even in India, you have to remember for 10 videos you've watched, there is 100+ barbershops. So only once in Turkey I had a barber who told me he already did a UA-cam video. I'd say places like Poland, there is less surprise as many barbers have their own tiktok and do reels for marketing purposes

I am saying nothing of the value for money etc but were you over charged compared to price lists/other experiences?
In Kenya I was often quoted the "muzungu" price (price for foreigner/white guy). But in Uganda, not so much. However it's in the culture to try and bargain.
@@shavesandmassages I see a lot of these travel videos going to barbers, and they always seem to pause as if thinking up a price that is not too insulting that you will still pay. It is so far removed from what I am used to in Europe.
