I don’t really understand the whole concept of “blocking cards” like the AhKh hand. I totally understand the practicality of saying the fact you had AhKh meant he could more reasonably have had spades, but is it enough of a genuine factor to alter your decision in that spot? In the same way if you’d have had A9 you’d have been “blocking” a straight draw, there’s 3 other 9s in the deck. I’ve played poker for around 15 years and it’s not a concept I remember being around back then. Like having AK and going all in pre flop because you “block” aces or kings isn’t something I think should take precedence over things such as position, sizing, tournament structure etc when deliberating a hero call or bluff catching type hand. I’m a total newb to GTO and play recreationally but would wonder how much precedence you put on blocking cards over other variables
In theory, we have to choose hand combos to bluff or bluff catch with from somewhere to maintain balance, so choosing the combos that have blocking properties makes a lot of sense although as you point out the actual EV difference between bluffing with a hand without blocking properties and one with blocking properties is oftentimes somewhat small (unless ranges are very tight) it's still there and thus the small edge is basically a free lunch (in theory at least) and in practice, it makes coming up with bluffs more intuitive and easier to memorize. That being said, I am not really sure that his point about unblocking the spades in this spot is relevant here because I don't think flush draws are supposed to be turned into a bluff on the river but I could obviously be wrong (I assume this because flush draws are blocking some of jaimes folding range ). I am not the sharpest on GTO either so if any poker wizards are reading this and disagreeing with me feel free to correct me :)

Prone to believing random conspiracies touted by some Facebook uncle or god forbid right wing propaganda outlet FOX news or news max (much more biased than CNN and MANBC amazingly). rather than actually attempting to understand established facts. CNN is biased towards corporate democrats, FOX News is just straight up lies. I hate both but there’s a gigantic difference.
