That was great !!!
Now this is a proper guitar duo. I don’t understand why all other duos and ensembles just use one type of guitar. Sometimes we need some space between the instruments.
Appreciate this comment, thank you!
Marvelous! Who has built that Contrabass Guitar?
[edit]Just saw it in the description. Amazing instrument!
U know what they say, the bigger the bass... 😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏
Amazing!!! What strings are the contrabass fitted with?
Thanks Antonio! They are custom-made classical bass strings from Hannabach, scale = 88cm
Well, Marion’s playing is very impressive, but Annette is the creator, & inasmuch deserves 80% of the credit.
But....fine playing from both guys.
Thanks again! ...and I'm sure Annette K will be happy to take that 80% :-) . And yep, Marion plays well, I stopped trying to keep up years ago, then I took up the bass ;-) . Cheers, from 'the other guy' (PC) :-) !!
Is het zulk tropisch heet weer, dan moet je je ook nog inspannen om dit prachtige nummer te performen... LOL
Klinkt geweldig mooi zeg...!
Groet,
Bert
Contrabass?
I don’t think so.
Annette’s playing is geweldig.
Hi Eli. Nederlands? English? Thanks for your response! Haha, your confusion is understandable. Annette Kruisbrink is the COMPOSER of the piece, the guitarist in this film is Marion Schaap (geweldig, ja!). And, correct, this is not a contrabass but a rare contrabass GUITAR. The original scoring, hence the original title of the piece, was for contrabass. But you have a point... we'll try to make it clearer in the description, thanks for pointing this out!
