How'd you do the eyes closing? Paint them off a second head and swap them?

That particular head comes unpainted. I try to get at least one extra of each grunt skin tone variant so I can have them sleep in scenes like this

Fun fact: the jackals are cannonically racist against grunts, they even tried to sterilize the grunt population on the covenant capital at one point
