man, this should have been it's own episode in the anime, glad we have people like you who actually clarifies this kind of stuff to people who can't get their hands on the novels or like me who only read the novels after the anime is finished to know what happened next, this makes the dungeon seem way more dangerous than how the anime showed and show how terrifying and quite troublesome it is to travel deeper in there, rly man thanks I rly appreciate this series ur doing

I'm making no logical leap that they struggled to reach that point. Its the 20th floor. I get why the anime skipped that. We all know what'll happen. They struggle, they run low on supplies, they might drive themselves to their limits. But end of the day. We know they have the plot armour to make it to where they intended. An anime needs to be punchy and focus on key aspects thats truly important to the plot. If no context is lost if a scene gets lost. Then it can be cut. An anime has only so many episodes to a season. You need to be practical like that.
Man some animes I wish would still be hundreds of episodes long like the old dbz or Naruto. Danmachi is one of those so that way they don't have to cut out so much to fit 12 episodes.
Well, the light novels are really long, like 2-3 hours worth of just reading per chapter.... well for me at least, the light novel chapter are about equivalent to 5-15 normal light novel chapters

about the only way to visually tell in the character designs of half-elves and purebloods is the ear length. the pures have MUCH longer and more pronounced ears with VERY pointed tips.
The only time they actually managed to show the danger of the Dungeon, is when Bell and others were going down to 18th floor for the first time. I thought they would do the same here... But no, they just went down to the 20th without any trouble. I'm certain they would redirect the money for that episode to another fan service episode or smth

All elves hate royman. Call him the guild pig lol. Bells familia almost got wrecked a few times on floor 19. Concurrent chant is when you can use a magic while moving. Except argunaout was a skill. He wouldn't blow up if he messed up. He just had to think of heroic tales.
The newest episode really got me hyped about how it going to play out, I imagined it occuring as ains seeing bell defending the monster, realising this is what he meant earlier and being angry he was defending a rampaging monster, dashing down using her wind armour, they clash for a few seconds, but the difference in strength is clear, a kick to the stomach knocks him out, she picks him up and the rest capture the monster, she and the rest question him when he wakes up they ask him about the situation and why he defending a monster. This probably isn't what happens, but I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens.

Something very interesting I learned recently that may be part of the idea for Wiene came from: Wyverns came from French Folklore, like the Tarask, where the name is "Vouivre". In French Folklore, Dragons are linked to an area, or to a specific city like Tarask/Tarasque, who is the dragon which terrorized the city of Tarascon, and are all of them are unique. They only became species and sub-species in fiction. The 'Vouivre' is one of these specific dragons, with no arm and a jewel on top of their head.
Honestly, this was the right move for the anime. While the dungeon crawl made for an exciting read for the volume it came out in, it's not exactly relevant to the plot of the overarching 3rd season. The Xenos were the important part. I still recommend people go read the books, cause Oomori is actually a great writer and Danmachi has such a fleshed out world.
Can't wait for the other members of the Hestia Familia to level up aside from Bell. Welf can use his magic blacksmith skills to craft golem companions and Liliruca needs to unlock an infinite storage space ability if she levels? Or what if Bell used a censor or privacy spell so Freya cannot stalk or spy on him or the Familia from afar?
So much was cut, these videos truly are a pretty useful resource. Given that the manga is not even a viable option the best next option besides the source material itself is to see the anime with videos like this; still I am quite amazed, and not really in a good way, regarding how much it was left out, I guess due Re:Zero's anime I became spoiled regarding LN adaptations lately.
so I started reading the DanMachi light novels that I picked up recently. I started at the Apollo War Game Arc and already I was angry with the anime for basically cutting out the conversation they had at the tavern regarding the EX Goliath and before that they skipped out the part where Lili made a prior attempt in wanting to leave the Soma Familia but failed. I never finished season 2 of this anime only having watched episodes 1 and 2 of it and not even halfway into volume 6 and they cut out that much. I give up on anime too easily. But I probably will be reading the DanMachi LN and Sword Oratoria at the same time since their stories sort of intersect and I feel it's just better to read the DanMachi series that way. Personal joy

Light Spoiler!!!!!!!!! Below Think of what usually happens in a Harem anime when MC is about to confess to his girl of choice, that type of shenanigan. But with Wiene, Loki Fam, and Bell scene, Bell 1stly, takes care the issue before the shenanigan plot armor.

10s in and I already feel almost depressed for this anime not showing most of what happened in the source. The whole Level and Stats system you talked about last time was a big wish for season 1 on my part. nevertheless, I really enjoyed the last episode of Danmachi. Season 3 is something I enjoy at least 5 times more than Season 2 so far. I hope this series would adapt more of its source as we go on. To be fair Jojo has a lot of type matching, making it hard to determine strength when even Araki doesn't have a logical system set up and hard counters can cause for easy victories. I would love to see it, I just wonder how it could be done well.
Hmmm, the latest episode has got me really questioning whether I want to continue with the anime or not. I became EXTREMELY frustrated with Bell-kun having the biggest hesitation showdown. Obviously not going to describe anymore, you’ll know when you watch it. But Bell-kun could’ve done ANYTHING else, but no.....he’s got scaredy-cat eyes, hesitates, freezes and does NOTHING. He could’ve pissed his pants and made more headway! I have no fucking idea why the director decided to embellish that one moment like they did, it just made Bell-Kun look totally inept and stupid.
You should watch then. Bell does nothing but fight for the rest of the season. He fights EVERYONE. Loki Familia, Aiz (Twice), Orario adventurers, the xenos (Because Hermes is an ass) and Asterius, the great black Minotaur (Which kicks Loki Familias ass) They also didn't show Bells inner thinking at that moment. He also does not stand there like a pussy shown in the Anime. Bell stands in his battle pose, challenging Loki Familia, screaming out that weine is HIS kill then he firebolts them!
My understanding of the word "Xeno" basically means "Alien" in Greek or where ever it came from. Besides, I'm a Warhammer person, and in the grim darkness of the far future, "Suffer not the Alien to live".
I think you're going to have your hands full explaining all the upcoming cut content that follows. I think it would take 12 episodes to just cover the time from where Wiene and the Xenos get to the surface to when the Hestia familia and their accomplice familias try to get the Xenos back to Knossus. There is too much action, and a lot of it will never be animated, my guess is that only a few individual fights will be covered and leave out all the battles going on around the city, which there are many. I guess it's kinda sad this anime only gets 12 episodes, while another anime takes 25-26 episode to cover a few highschool volleyball matches.

@@miniman2360 LN = Light novel. They are the books that many shows are based on. There may be a WN (web novel) which usually acts as a rough draft of the Light novel. Many also are adapted to or start as Manga (comic books). Light novels usually have more information than and are almost always ahead of anime which is why many people like to read them in order to get as much story as possible.
Yeah, the actual dungeon delving hasn't been tense or interesting since back in season 1. I'm glad these videos exist to show that it isn't like that in the source material.
Well some of these are justifiable. While it is entertaining it was skipped and we got shown the most important things. Tho it is unfortunate that some important scenes were just not important enough to be shown. If they actually tried to fit everything in one season then it wouldve been seriously rushed and bad. @@miniman2360 LN = Light novel. They are the books that many shows are based on. There may be a WN (web novel) which usually acts as a rough draft of the Light novel. Many also are adapted to or start as Manga (comic books). Light novels usually have more information than and are almost always ahead of anime which is why many people like to read them in order to get as much story as possible.

Well some of these are justifiable. While it is entertaining it was skipped and we got shown the most important things. Tho it is unfortunate that some important scenes were just not important enough to be shown. If they actually tried to fit everything in one season then it wouldve been seriously rushed and bad. Season 3 was actually incredibly intense and well done

Yoo I wished they updated the manga it was really good and gave a little more context than the anime but the original artist had to leave and now they barely update the manga which is further behind than the anime which is odd
