Have you ever considered asking aqua decor to sponsor you? Idk if you ever watch Kamp Kenan but he got a ton of 3d background and put it all over the sides of a few of his animals enclosures. That fake rock would look amazing covering the cinderblock wall all the way around. Would be a huge visual improvement and would cost them a lot less than what they did for Kenan
cool! now you can grow some Nepenthes!!! I recommend N. ampullaria a.k.a 'The Cannibalistic/Vegetarian Pitcher Plant' because it eats fallen leaves by making these amazing carpets on the rainforest floor, they often have symbiotic animals like crabs and frogs which live insidethem - and they are safe with dart frogs too.
Sorry idk if you may have already explained this, but it would be really cool if you explained how you feed the dart frogs and regulate their heath/ or any tadpoles
that looks really nice. I'm also dealing with the Utah hard water and my misting system puts an incredible coat of calcium on all my monsteras and citrus. Do you run your system on a timer or a humidity sensor? Mine was on a timer this year and towards the fall is got so humid it actually fried the timer.
We don’t really get enough rain here to be able to rely on that year round. So it’s not really worth the cost or trouble of setting up a huge rain collection system.
congrats for the S. jiewhoei really cool tree with apple sized pink cauliflorous edible fuits too! - are you going to get any passiflora to have loads of butterflies like in suriname? or other bugs or birds?
@@Purwapada unfortunately most tropical non native insects are illegal to keep and import in the US without permits. So it’ll be quite a while before I can get anything too cool in here. And I originally planned on adding birds, but have since decided against it. Birds are too destructive and typically don’t do well with small reptiles. Even the smaller “peaceful” birds.
Hey, I have a question about that snake. You mentioned you believe they are nest raiders, and that's why they flee to safety once they've grabbed a rodent. Why is it then they don't react that way when you feed them eggs? You said you can hand-feed eggs. Wouldn't they also want to scurry away once they've grabbed an egg out of a nest in the wild? In fact, I would assume it would be even more urgent because a parent bird is more likely to be at the nest 24/7 sitting on eggs, yet they leave to hunt once the birds have hatched.
@@WILD__THINGS they don’t necessarily pull the eggs back quite like that. But they sit there and eat as many as they can then move on pretty quickly. And they eat them extremely fast, even the eggs. You can see short videos of it on my page.
@ALifeExotic Oh, ok, I think I see what you're saying. Like in the wild, they might as well swallow an egg right there as soon as they grab it. But a nestling is likely to start making a lot of noise, so the snake needs to get it out of there before an adult bird is alerted. That makes sense.
Sick upgrades!! Can’t wait to see it in person!
The male snake is crazy cool, really awesome how active he is.
They’re such a cool species! How active they are during the day is one of the reasons we chose them for the greenhouse
From an aquarium/aquascape and plant loving guy. Your videos are a joy to my day.
bro WHAT this is sick. Coming along beautifully.

Crazy Kewl greenhouse, etc. This is a dream setup for many of us in the Aquarium/Aquascape/Reptilian world. Kudos and thanks for sharing.

Kennan was sponsored by Universal rock I think, but good idea to start seeking sponsorship, nobody is doing this level of badassery

I run my current system on a timer. Luckily the timer I have is completely weather proof so hopefully it never fails on me

How do you control plant pests in your greenhouse?
@@jh-nt9ws beneficial insects on a regular basis. But pests definitely exist in here, I just keep them in check so there’s no major outbreaks
