Did you notice, Miquella seems to have been using albinaurics to study rebirthing with the cocoons found in the haligtree? If you closely observed the cocoons they resemble albinaurics in a fetal position praying. Torture devices for albinauric found in Volcano Manor can also be found in Castle Sol.
really good video m8 but I'd like to say that Fromsoft takes inspiration from Berserk and makes references to it, while also crafting their own stories. Miquella has many parallels to Griffith but it's difficult to make assumption about his character based on that. even with all the similarities we have no idea in which direction his charaacter is going. you already mentioned the idea of him being the antithesis to Griffith in terms of morality which is a cool idea but who knows
I really like the idea that Miquella would be contrasting but mirroring Griffith. Like Miquella is the scenerio where Griffith was actually compassionate enough to do things a better way. Course it wouldn't be One to One, because Miquella is born into royalty whereas Griffith was born destitute and homeless. I like the idea so much, because while I love Griffith as a character (and I mean pre-femto), it's not very easy to relate to him or appreciate him because of what happens later in the story and the stigma surrounding even his name. It would be nice to have a similar character, with all the aspects that make griffith so compelling, that is really someone that you can look up to and aspire towards.
@@zaclovesschool2273 personally I can relate to him very easily it's just that they are the aspects of him other than his immoral actions. Ambition and purpose, not understanding yourself or not having a very developed personality (changing between leader and child), having a friend whom you love and respect, being left by someone you love, wanting to regain a sense of control after expieriencing emotional pain, even social alienation from your enviroment (not being accepted by nobility while also being seen as something higher than the band of the hawks). all very human concept I can understand even without having expierience with most of them (Im 17 years old if that tells you something)
You guys are so boring. You really want miquella to be an NPC who is truly benevolent? That would be extremely boring imo and a waste of potentially fromsofts Greatest boss fight. At the end of the day these are games man. And Griffith despite his depth is inherently an evil character. Miquella will show his true colors the way Griffith did and I believe he will be one of the central boss fights of the DLC. Fromsofts most ambitious & Greatest boss fight as we go the whole game hearing about miquella but never seeing him. They were literally building the hype for his boss fight throughout the whole game imo. But hey I could be wrong
I think your guys love for Griffith character has clouded your judgement of him. Just like how a lot of ppl who love joker do. Imo Griffith is not a character to “relate to” or “see yourself in” he’s a cautionary tale of what can happen to you when you become a narcissist and only care for & consider yourself. I’m talking post femto btw. Ik I’m simplifying his character a lot rn but I think y’all have just fallen in love with how much depth his character has and never picked yourself outta that hole and remind yourself that he’s still the villain. They always say the best written villains are the ones in which you understand & maybe even empathize with how they got from A to B
@@jpnoir4807 my brother in Christ he raped his best friends girlfriend in front of his eyes just to make a point. who tf said that he was a good person? even before the entire torture and his transformation into an evil demon god he had many psychological issues, not to say that can't be relatable to some, but I was mainly talking about 1. his dream and 2. devistation at Guts' departure. and the idea of a dream is still present in Guts' character and was inspired by Griffith so how can that be a negative thing in itself. I also really like him as Femto since he became completly focused on his dream to the point he seems like a literal alien which he kinda is. But then you think back to the final pages drawn my Miura (morning dew) and he seems somewhat tragic. the fact you think that's the same thing as forgetting that he's evil might either show that you think other people lack media literacy or that you lack it yourself
I liked you point on miquella being at a crossed roads. I think that his st Trina form IS the Evil side tho. I think the tug of war that’s going on within miquella is with the formless mother. Either he will be corrupted by her or he will overcome/tame her and use her for power. St Trina is evil side while miquella is the benevolent one.
That's an interesting thought. I personally do not see St Trina as an evil entity, but it would make for a perfectly tragic story in Shadow of the Erdtree. I like it :D
I have been a Dark Souls and Elden Ring fan for a long time, however, i recently have gotten into Berserk. I am not much of an anime consumer, however, Berserk has caught me in its net quite effectively. I plan on reading the manga as well. Immediately after i finished the 1997 anime, I saw the similarities between Griffith and Miquella. They are both mistakenly referred to as "pure" and "powerful" as if they are chosen heirs to the throne. Great video, glad to see I wasn't the only one that saw these connections.
Glad to hear that you got into Berserk😄 Take your time with it as it is quite a journey of emotions, that will stick with you for the rest of your life.
Yes, and Ensha as the skull knight will be the type of villain who wants to kill Miquella. For the fact that I do not know why. It would just be a cool reference.
My only concrete thoughs about Miquella leaving Griffith clues aside is that is basically confirm to have a bossfight that either takes place in the past, or is the result of a secret quest extention of the milicent family that will lead to a full power Miquella, which acording to lore isnt really the strongest ever, but may be on Gideon´s level. gonna be honest watched the whole video without having watch/read beserk yet lol but great video, hope this channel prospers.
I hope so too. Though it is hard work to create content and have a 9-5 job. If you enjoy my content and wish to help me grow my channel, then simply subscribing & sharing my content would help me immensely🙏
I honestly agree with you and also think Miquella has more in common with John Milton's idea of lucifer in paradise lost as well. They both were once in high esteem, they both are trying to create their own paradise and they both are charismatic enough to sway entities some what unnaturally to their cause. Yet in the end all they end up with is a hell thrusted upon them, were both supposedly slumber for the rest of eternity. (if you take Dante's inferno's account of lucifer's ultimate fate that is.)
*Easy:* - Berserk's story is etched into my very being for the profound impact it had on me - I know that Miyazaki loves Berserk as well & uses it in his story - A random thought came into my head when playing Elden Ring along the lines: " _Miquella is as beloved as Griffith, huh... are there any more similarities?"_ - I've looked into both characters more extensively & discovered A LOT of similar actions, behaviors, story beats, etc. which I summarized all in this video Because of this, it was extremely obvious to me that Miyazaki definitely used Griffith as inspirational material for Miquella. But as for the details of how they would have played out in the DLC, especially considering that Miquella stepped through the gate of divinity _(made up of countless dried up corpses)_ to become a god, similarly to Griffith, I never expected him to go full-on "Yeah, let's use Griffith in every regards possible for Miquella's character" *Fun fact:* Miquella wanting Radahn _(= a war & killing machine)_ as his consort is identical to how Griffith wanted Guts to join his initial Band of the Hawk.
What are your thoughts about Miquella?

you were right
This was a very enjoyable vide9 to watch, I love the music you used too 😌
*video 😅
Glad you enjoyed it! As a bonafide music snob, I'm extremely particular about the music I use for my videos. I'm glad it's appreciated :D
Just beat the DLC and I can't believe how right this guy was
such a great video mate. i am really really hyped for the dlc and would like to see your thoughts and ideas to find at least some truth
You and me both, mate!
Somebody better pick up that phone, because you called it!!!!!!

You basically wrote the end of Berserk finally!! R.I.P. Mijura!!
lol no I didn't xD & R.I.P. Mijura G.O.A.T.
your idea with subtitles is great!
You're a damn time traveler

Great video but I gotta agree with Jack is a Mimic on this one. Griffith is Mohg. Being puppetted by a greater force.
Crazy theory, but what if the whole DLC is just a trap for the tarnished set by both Mohg and Mikila and Mesmer is there competition
Real
Ive never seen Berserk and just took people's words on forums etc., that this theory was a reach. Theyre definitely built upen each other 😂😂
