Another reason for the high usage rate of ump45 is because there was an upgradable skin in one of the recent royal passes, it was quite easy to upgrade so many people bought it, and now they use ump for an additional reason

@@Ashzam0304 you can't count that as "another reason" because people have been using the ump for a long time. Even before the skin came out. Before it was ump, Uzi, m7 and akm. People would always use 1 of these 4 as their close range weapon. You don't see people using the mk47 because of cool skins. You don't see people using the Winchester because of cool skins. Ump is the most reliable smg at close range. Especially after Uzi got nerfed

Additional facts : the UMP 45 (incl. all SMGs type weapon) has faster ADS moving speed than Assault rifle while moving in ADS (this makes your aim while moving is fast when using SMG)
The ump is definitely good, I've really been liking a supressed vector with vert grip and 3x scope. Absolute laser at midrange. Nobody is prepared for it
It’s popular bc it outperforms every other gun from outside shotgun range to long range. You don’t have to ADS up to mid range, and it’s just easier. Why worry about when to ADS/crouchspray/drop shot when you can just wiggle left and right while sprinting and hipfire.

When ump used 9mm it was a fine gun. But when bullet changed to .45mm for ump it got messed up. Then eventually it got buffed to God Tier in 2022 i.e., it used to be even better than now in 2022. A year or so later its performance was dimmed a little but its reliability is unquestionable till this date. UZI ALSO HAS AN INTERESTING HISTORY ONLY OG PLAYERS CAN RELATE I think downfall of UZI began when recall towers were introduced and as uzi was one of the default weapon it got nerfed for the worst
Uzi recoil has been increased in the recent past. It's not as stable as it used to be before the buffed-Ump times. Decrease in stability of uzi is what referred to as nerfing.@@kahung7018

Ump with a suppressor is very effective in mid range combat too. It's extremely silent and sneaky. Almost like using a vss.
