Personally, I think that an AI that can generate (semi-)original shorts, series and movies from scratch (read: not by 'scraping') could be fun to experiment with once it's 'educated' enough. ^_^ Not only could individual users (attempt to) extend their favorite classic series (eg Daria: The College Years (+ Is It Life Yet?), The Last Duckman Story, a Garfield/Snoopy 'special', etc) but they could have it turn odd concepts (eg Jem & the Holograms as a ninja anime, their (least) favorite licensed character in Wonderland; a high school/college where monsters, aliens, robots and (other non-/not-quite-)human beings co-exist) into entertaining (sur)reality. There are plenty of (usually free) tools available should one want to (learn how to) create 2D/3D animations of/on their own but seeing how an AI can (attempt to) create it can be fun, in itself. ~_^ My applause to those individuals/teams who post their greatness to UA-cam and other video galleries. You are showing the 'big boys' how it *can* be done.
@@ChainsawGenie i would rather be impressed and react with "how would a human being with a brain physically like mine be able to think of something like this?" rather than "oh its ai" and be left disappointed. as cool as AI might seem nothing beats a humans sheer will to create something passionate, even with their then lack of skill. one punch man started out as a somewhat sloppily drawn webcomic but the writing was insane enough for the author to get a professional artist to work for them and redraw the entire manga. being a creative is hard, but the payoff is rewarding. a hand written continuation of a previous IP will always be better than any AI. its why people somehow bare through reading something as Empress Theresa, the absurdity of it written by a human being is so horrible its good.

Plot twist: what if it is? Let me explain: The animation doesn’t look like AI made it to me. It looks like humans did. Have you seen AI try to animate? It turns out like crap. This one actually looks grounded in reality (as real as a yarn world with animals is anyway lol) and it actually looks as if humans worked on it, and I’m on the side that thinks that the only thing using AI is the texture. The animation itself looks too nice to be AI. (I’m not defending it, it doesn’t look that great and I still hope it bombs, but good grief people need to chill and think for a moment!)
honestly i don't think this is entirely that bad. yeah i hate ai art, but this show is still created by human people with ai only being used as an assistive tool (like it SHOULD be used). it's not like they're using ai to create the ENTIRE show

@@DoofenSpyroDragon16 Same. If I had to guess, AI was likely used to finish off various scenes (i.e. some of it was animated by humans and finished with AI which would explain some minor visual errors.)

@cassandracrusoe8052 True, but they could have their desired look and feel without the limitations that comes with AI. Trust me it's a labor intensive project but it will be worth it. I mean Nintendo has done it before and it came out great.

See, we’re using AI to-“ “Congratulations! You’re fired! Get the f@&$ out of my office.”
If nobody's putting in the effort to make it. We shouldn't put in the effort to watch it. Big companies nowadays are so terrible. This is why websites like Newgrounds and early UA-cam thrived. Because it was the fans who loved these fictional characters so much they put in dedicated work just for 5 minute animations. And everybody loved those animations. Whether it was Super Mario Bros. Z or Sonic Robo Blast 2. The fans made those because of how much love and care was put in the source material. And that is something you can never replace. -Bean Lava 2025
That used to be cartoon pre-2020s. Now it’s just random humor that a parent can tolerate by just putting on a playlist and giving their toddler the iPad
Do not even look at it. Look where hate watching got us with teen titans go. Hate watching will just bring up numbers and throw children’s entertainment down an even worse spiral than the “all children are brain dead toddlers” state it is now.
What’s even worse is that this is only the beginning. There will be a whole lot more cartoons like this for many years to come. It’s currently unknown if AI was used for the animation itself or just for the production with the concept art or storyboards, but nevertheless this paints a dark future for cartoons as if this series does turn out to be a hit, you can guarantee that other companies will want to follow in it’s shoes and produce more AI slop without actual hard working creative people involved just to save a buck.
The only Pooh project that was done right was Christopher Robin, with the Pooh characters looking more like their book/toy counterparts. It's the only Disney live action that isn't a live action remake and is underrated. It's a good movie and I recommend anyone to watch it.
I think so too. It appears to have some human oversight as I could hardly see any animation errors AI would have. I think they used AI for most/some of the animations with human editors/clean-up artists. As long as this is the way the people behind it wanted to express it for a purpose, I’m all for it.
@@desenhosanimados2010 probably that too. Overall, this is honestly nothing to even get mad over. If you don’t like it because of quality or interest or anything that’s subjective to each show/movie, just don’t watch.
Finally, some people who get it lol. AI should really just be a tool and concept-based, completely overreacting and trying to ban it off does nothing. I understand, people might lose jobs to greedy corperations and etc, but that's not every single company in the world which uses ai for its works.
having an AI CARTOON seems far worse for winnie the pooh then having him become a Horror Villain (I love the horror version, but i respect eveyone's opinion)
.... I know they said AI was in it, but... how? Like, I heard it had something to do with the look/characters, but was it a thing that was inspired by an AI image generator prompt? Or is the AI in something else? I'm just a tad bit confused
Since Mickey and Pooh have entered public domain, I would imagine making a movie about Mickey and Winnie the Pooh, which would be inspired by "Deadpool and Wolverine". I would also imagine Mickey and Pooh being voiced by Steve Carrell and Joaquin Phoenix and maybe Jim Carrey as Tiger. How does that sound to you?
Imagine time traveling back 10 years in the past and telling an animation nerd that one day we will have cartoons that were not made by real humans and it all made by a computer without human interference they would be so damn outright confused and think your crazy. They be thinking about “how impossible a machine can create cartoons” TBH we humans predicted many things for the future. This is oddly unfathomable to even comprehend what we have today. Did anybody even imagine this being a thing as a concept????? I think not!☹️☹️☹️💀💀
This AI Winnie the Pooh cartoon is just pure “Pooh.” 💩 I grew up with Disney’s classic cartoons of Winnie the Pooh, and I definitely like the live action movie of Winnie the Pooh, “Christopher Robin,” made by Disney. It made me tear up when I saw my favorite characters I grew up with in a live action movie on Disney+. Overall, this AI Winnie the Pooh is not my cup of tea or Pooh would say, “not my pot of honey.”
The animation doesn't look like AI, it moves really well and it's consistent. I've seen recent AI stuff that still can't just not change major details about the characters when they move. Maybe there were actual animators here and they used the AI for something else like character design
When I was a 1 year old, my Father came back from Italy after being stationed there by the Navy and he brought me a Winnie the Pooh teddy bear. 26 years later and I still have that bear. This is not that bear.
*"This will be the first time using characters and methods developed with AI."* Yeah, well your showrunners were so preoccupied with wether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should.
If they never said this is AI you wouldn’t have all noticed. I couldn’t find any exporting mistakes or glitches. I think it’s a huge step up for the AI industry, but don’t think I’m taking their side, it’s a scary thing for me to take notice of. Humans are by far better and this is proof that they will barely be relied on anymore in the animation industry. Buckle up, another strike is on the way.
While the project wasn't at least fully AI-generated, this adaptation of Winnie the Pooh doesn't strike as being all that creative and doesn't stand out all that much.
Quite frankly, *A.I. generated animation should never replace animation created by humans* as it could kill off any actual creativity in animated shows and movies like the ones from the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s had. Also, the more that A.I. is used to make cartoons in the future, giant corporations like Disney will think they replace humans with AI to save money and time, which will affect the animation industry badly and put hardworking and genuinely talented artists out of work. Basically, as the old saying goes: “It will all end in tears”.
It looks alright although I would’ve preferred if it wasn’t ai generated. My personal problem with this one is that these versions of the characters remind me too much of the Disney specific ones.
My question is: Can Roo finally have a dad already? I mean, I get for the most part they're meant to be toy animals. But has nobody ever asked where Kanga's husband is?

Please, don’t let AI shows be a thing 😭🙏🏻
Personally, I think that an AI that can generate (semi-)original shorts, series and movies from scratch (read: not by 'scraping') could be fun to experiment with once it's 'educated' enough. ^_^
Not only could individual users (attempt to) extend their favorite classic series (eg Daria: The College Years (+ Is It Life Yet?), The Last Duckman Story, a Garfield/Snoopy 'special', etc) but they could have it turn odd concepts (eg Jem & the Holograms as a ninja anime, their (least) favorite licensed character in Wonderland; a high school/college where monsters, aliens, robots and (other non-/not-quite-)human beings co-exist) into entertaining (sur)reality.
There are plenty of (usually free) tools available should one want to (learn how to) create 2D/3D animations of/on their own but seeing how an AI can (attempt to) create it can be fun, in itself. ~_^
My applause to those individuals/teams who post their greatness to UA-cam and other video galleries.
@@ChainsawGeniebesides stealing, gen AI is deeply damaging to the enviroment, floods the internet with fake images and can be used to generate realistic audio, images and videos which is extremely dangerous. The negative effects are much greater than the positive.
Even if this wasn't AI, seeing all the characters constantly dancing like they're in Fortnite was enough to immediately discourage me from being interested in it
Especially Eeyore - as much as I want him to be happy, seeing him doing the shimmy in the pile of leaves (1:56) felt so painfully out of character

“Couldn’t have done this without ai” is the most uncreative thing I have ever heard it actually feels like ragebait
Plot twist: what if it is?
Let me explain:
The animation doesn’t look like AI made it to me.
(I’m not defending it, it doesn’t look that great and I still hope it bombs, but good grief people need to chill and think for a moment!)
honestly i don't think this is entirely that bad. yeah i hate ai art, but this show is still created by human people with ai only being used as an assistive tool (like it SHOULD be used). it's not like they're using ai to create the ENTIRE show
Facts.
Yes. Thank you.
Looks way too human involved to be entirely AI imo.
Yeah, people are seriously overreacting; I agree with many of the issues regarding genAI, but this is ridiculous. I have some issues with the art, but I don’t think genAI is the problem; we’ll have to see what it’s like.
@@DoofenSpyroDragon16 Same. If I had to guess, AI was likely used to finish off various scenes (i.e. some of it was animated by humans and finished with AI which would explain some minor visual errors.)
I say no just because it’s ai. Good shows need human imagination. That’s what makes a cartoon good. The thought put into by the creators.
imagine writing a really successful book series where you put your blood sweat and tears into it only for it like to get turned into a cheap ai cashgrab only to take the name of said series and throw it in a blender 40 years later
If anyone watches this show... stop watching it. AI should NOT be used for animation, like, at all. Why is AI taking over.
Gen AI* AI has been used for assisting animation since a lot time ago, even spiderverse. Which is not wrong, it has become unethical since gen AI images, videos and audio, which should be banned.
Atleast it’s not a horror movie
it's even worse
Idk bout you but I’ll accept TEN horror movies before this.
And I am NOT a horror fan
it kinda is. its a reminder that ai cartoons might takeover and kids will be watching ai slop kids cartoons
At least the horror movies are made by humans
"Blood and Honey" is horrible lol. But if you want smaller kids and your family to watch the classical Winnie the Pooh franchise here's a couple of suggestions "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" and the good old movies.
THEY MASSACRED MY BOI!!!!!
Corleone: Hey! That's my line.
1:40 why didn't you go with a stop motion animated series. You could have made all the characters and sets out of yarn. Oh no. I might give it chance
It would be alot of work
@cassandracrusoe8052 True, but they could have their desired look and feel without the limitations that comes with AI. Trust me it's a labor intensive project but it will be worth it. I mean Nintendo has done it before and it came out great.
“I’m sick of all these family-friendly brands getting a gore-fest the moment they set foot into the public domain! Doesn’t anyone here have any family-friendly ideas?!”
“I might have one, sir. We’ve been working on this family-friendly cartoon with a yarn aesthetic-“
“Now that’s what I like to hear! You’re hired! How much manpower do you already have?”
“Not that many, sir. See, we’re using AI to-“
“Congratulations!

Honestly, all of Disney Jr.'s shows (other than Bluey) look the same, and feel the same. In conclusion: fudge Disney, Rovio, and Nick for using ai
KIDS DESERVE GOOD THINGS TOO. KIDS DESERVE TO GROW UP WITH CARTOONS THAT ARE ENGAGING AND INTERESTING, TO ALL VIEWERS WITH VARIOUS WALKS OF LIFE.
That used to be cartoon pre-2020s. Now it’s just random humor that a parent can tolerate by just putting on a playlist and giving their toddler the iPad
"BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU." Looking Ass Comment 💀
I mean, the show's design doesnt look that bad, but using AI to make a kids show is just completely wrong.
Oh Bother, AI these days🤦♂️
The fact this doesn’t even look like ai and unless you really scout for details, you don’t notice it’s ai.
Do not even look at it. Look where hate watching got us with teen titans go. Hate watching will just bring up numbers and throw children’s entertainment down an even worse spiral than the “all children are brain dead toddlers” state it is now.
Honestly ai gets a bad reputation cuz of the scummy people using it
What’s even worse is that this is only the beginning.
That ain't Winnie the Pooh. That's Nellie the Fart.
I wouldn't be surprised if the song in that AI cartoon uses suno AI
I thought the exact same fucking thing.
It Sure Does Sound Like It!
@AGuyNamedAl Heh, also you sure are a person of culture with both that profile pic and username!
Every scummy thing aside... Eeyore's design is sick actually.
AI cartoons should be illegal
“It would’ve been impossible to make this art style a year ago!”
Yoshi’s Woolly World: Am I a joke to you?
I will be honest… the animation doesn’t look very ai generated… I think the voice acting would, though…
I’m so done with AI… 😓
AI gets everything wrong on cartoon style.
Wait a minute, Rabbit has a Blue jacket now!
"Who else do we know wears Blue?"
"Oh bother."
-Pooh after seeing his new cartoon.
The only Pooh project that was done right was Christopher Robin, with the Pooh characters looking more like their book/toy counterparts. It's the only Disney live action that isn't a live action remake and is underrated. It's a good movie and I recommend anyone to watch it.
To be honest, this looks decent, I thought the whole thing was gonna be AI generated but at least there animated by people at least
I think so too. It appears to have some human oversight as I could hardly see any animation errors AI would have. I think they used AI for most/some of the animations with human editors/clean-up artists. As long as this is the way the people behind it wanted to express it for a purpose, I’m all for it.
@@omnomandnugget2494i think they outsource animation to a asian country just like a tv show or a show in general most of the time uses
@@desenhosanimados2010 probably that too. Overall, this is honestly nothing to even get mad over. If you don’t like it because of quality or interest or anything that’s subjective to each show/movie, just don’t watch.
@@omnomandnugget2494it is excusable if you do it in tv animation but not feature animation
Finally, some people who get it lol. AI should really just be a tool and concept-based, completely overreacting and trying to ban it off does nothing. I understand, people might lose jobs to greedy corperations and etc, but that's not every single company in the world which uses ai for its works.
As a kid myself, this dosent look ai generated.
having an AI CARTOON seems far worse for winnie the pooh then having him become a Horror Villain (I love the horror version, but i respect eveyone's opinion)
"It wouldn't be possible to make this without AI." There are VIDEO GAMES that make an aesthetic like this without AI.
.... I know they said AI was in it, but... how? Like, I heard it had something to do with the look/characters, but was it a thing that was inspired by an AI image generator prompt? Or is the AI in something else? I'm just a tad bit confused
I am as well. From what I can see it just looks like fairly generic computer animation. Nothing stands out as AI here.
Blood and Honey = Horrible
Winnie the Pooh AI = Horrible as well
Since Mickey and Pooh have entered public domain, I would imagine making a movie about Mickey and Winnie the Pooh, which would be inspired by "Deadpool and Wolverine".
They be thinking about “how impossible a machine can create cartoons”
TBH we humans predicted many things for the future. This is oddly unfathomable to even comprehend what we have today. Did anybody even imagine this being a thing as a concept????? I think not!☹️☹️☹️💀💀
" I A M P R O T E G E N T ! ! "
While public domain is when old cartoons really start their 2nd life, AI mustn't be involved.
When I was a 1 year old, my Father came back from Italy after being stationed there by the Navy and he brought me a Winnie the Pooh teddy bear. 26 years later and I still have that bear. This is not that bear.
*"This will be the first time using characters and methods developed with AI."*
Yeah, well your showrunners were so preoccupied with wether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should.
Why are they just Dancing in every shot of the trailer 😭
While the project wasn't at least fully AI-generated, this adaptation of Winnie the Pooh doesn't strike as being all that creative and doesn't stand out all that much.
Which is worse? This or blood and honey?
Atleast give him his red clothes back 😭
Winnie the Pooh is not catching a break from getting bad public domain adaptions, isn't he?
Although I'll admit the CGI animation is actually pretty decent.

It’s like Winnie the Pooh meets Cocomelon.
Funny you should say that, Kartoon Studios (the production company of this 💩) provides animation for Cocomelon.
Who gave them the "ok" to make this?! 😭🤢
It looks alright although I would’ve preferred if it wasn’t ai generated. My personal problem with this one is that these versions of the characters remind me too much of the Disney specific ones.
0:56 yeahhh definitely (looks Sternly at those "weird people")
We should use AI for only certain things, this not being one of them.
My question is: Can Roo finally have a dad already? I mean, I get for the most part they're meant to be toy animals. But has nobody ever asked where Kanga's husband is?
Look on the bright side. At least it's not another Winnie The Pooh horror movie.
Where's the love?
The new series doesn't even look like it's real. It looks so fanmade.
