The "road men" watching this should understand these guys are legends mashallah.. true warriors mashallah in every sense of the word.. i remember shaid from the 90s and who stood outside giving dawah outside bham central masjid, he was ar the for-front on the bosnia issue, these two people are fearless, not these clown drug dealers who are ruining our communities..
A humbling episode. Felt great to be there in person Alhamdulillah. These brothers have seen so much and have gone through things that we cannot imagine Subhaan’Allah.
Thank you very much for this session. Our youth overall should listen to this. May the Almighty unite the hearts of the Ummah and He guide us to go back to AlQuran and Suunah. As Muslim we should educate ourselves with the seerah of our prophet s.a.w and the sahabah and sahabiah and our history and be involved with our community.
This was still normal in the North West of England until around the year 2002. 39:58 is 100% accurate, still have PTSD from growing up and feeling constantly under threat even had my jaw broken when I was around 10 by a grown man so always felt like we had to look and feel strong. If we weren't Muslims the world would have been carrying out studies on us on how we were raised in such an environment
Thanks for addressing some of the issues, unfortunately Birmingham has a bad reputation for Drugs, Gangs & immense vehicle theft, it’s almost number 1 in this country, just trailing behind another place up north that I won’t mention the name of but we all know. These crimes massively impact the communities, this gangster mentality, pride, arrogance, lust, chasing the worldly materials which are mentioned in the Quran & Hadith as being the worst of the worst, imagine leaving the dunya in this condition, the Kubr will grip you and deal the most terrible tournament your mind couldn’t even comprehend, make a change brothers & sisters whilst we still have the opportunity, Dunya is just a flash of time in the grand scheme of things.
May Allah s.w.t keep these brothers umbrella upon our community's.. Have given great sacrifice for us all and may Allah keep us steadfast on our deen. I really look up to brother mozam and shahid as older brothers .. Great role models and great assets in our community. We are truly blessed may Allah keep us all safe Ameen
@Kirk-d7v I don't know brother ... they are just getting used to this social stuff I guess... from an era of straight up real life to virtual/social etc does take getting used too I'm only guessing ...
@@Kirk-d7v have to appreciate the fact they have come out and spoken of their life experience... alot of people are too scared ... these brothers have suffered and have built thick enough skin to sit here today and share their struggles ...
Not a fan of this mentality of “we’re not Pakistani we’re British”, and supplementing by adopting a pseudo Arab, wahabbi identity. The mirpuri/kashmiri community has maintained it’s culture/morals and remains very strongly tied to their motherland, therefore we are much stronger in our religion than those from other areas such as Lahore, Punjab etc It’s always a certain demographic from pakistan (Punjabi) which encourage total assimilation into British society & adopting this as your identity
They hate you because you don’t feed your children with their junk food, you don’t buy their fast clothes and that makes them really really angry. That's one of the reasons
I used to live on kenelm rd small heath in the late 70s . I remember clearly the ApL and NF coming in coaches on Charles rd doing marches. There was a big fight in digby park off mansell rd when the racist Goray and AApna fought . It was bloody . The goray were using all sorts of racial slurs and trying to Pxki bash us . The brother is right by the mid 80s the Asian gangs like the Aston panthers , redheads and lynx gangs started fighting each other after neutralising the APL and NF .Dont get me wrong there were isolated racists incidents but not bad as the late 70s and early 80s . The teachers were blatantly racists in schools . The teachers would openly call us wogs and Pxkis .
Mashalla brothers I really enjoyed your show it’s so true everything what the brothers said about 80s.All the Muslim umma should stand together it’s time before it gets really worse for us
