Disappointed to see so many rude comments about her feet. No one knows how her feet got in this condition and it’s not anyone else’s place to decide whether she should’ve been turned away 🙄
I've never gotten a pedicure and I don't feel like doing so. My heels are very dry (even drier than hers in the video) and I just feel weird someone touching my feet in general.
@@marianna3253 if you’re ever feeling up to it, you should give it a try. It’s soo relaxing and worth it. You could also pamper yourself at home, if you definitely do not want someone else touching your feet. There are a lot of good foot creams and other products on the market

@@marianna3253 you can also look for creams/masks with hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate in ingredients). This seems to help me a lot, I have several creams with urea, ceramides and what not, but the best one is the one with hyaluronic acid. Make sure to apply it regularly, may be every night before bed so that it has time to penetrate and restore the skin. Also regular exfoliation. No matter what cream you put on, if you don't remove the calluses it won't work.
I have never had a pedicure. I have always taken care of my feet myself. I think it looks like something I might like. I am 62 so it just might be time to try it. Great video thank you for sharing.

Enjoy, but make sure to research the place very well. You do not want to get an infection. Especially fungus infections are common in bad nail salons and you hardly get rid of them.

So whoever is watching this and wants to repeat - please don't try doing something like that without a professional training! You've got to have knowledge. And your working station must be fully equipped with professional equipment such as dust collector (you don't want someone's feet cells all over you and on the walls and everywhere, right?), professional e-file for pedicure with vacuum, and so on. So please gain some knowledge before starting practicing 🙏 There are few places in US you can learn at. The first who comes to my mind is Amelina Paraiso
Exactly! E-file manicure must be done by a great, well equipped and trustfull technician. Otherwise you can get hurt and get terrible infections. Good techs know when to stop filling the cuticule area.
Ok I will say this and stand by it. Out of respect for your nail technician, come in with clean feet, hands and nails. Also don’t wait till you have to go in for an appointment. Just have respect for yourself in general and bathe regularly so the natural wrinkles of your skin do not hold dirt as seen here. Maybe she farms but this is a strong no for me. Bless you for doing this, I hope they appreciated what you did for them.
Stop shaming her clients. Most people barely look at their own feet. The client's coming in to get her feet pampered, possibly for the first time in her life, and the technician is pampering them. That includes getting them clean of dirt that's literally embedded in the dead skin, which the nail technician outright explains couldn't be removed any other way. It's fine; notice how she's professional and doesn't blink twice. She's probably made a new long term client.

Even in a fast food restaurant you cant expect all people that come through that door to automatically be kind and respectful you just have to maintain your professionalism and deal with the dirty work. Great video! Specialist E-file bits for feet are on my wish list, and I’d ❤️ a proper pedi throne but I don’t have room! I like to use scrubs, and I do use e-file on toenails. That large ball bit you used on the cuticle area and sidewalls was fabulous! Your client has great shaped toes, and as for the comments about the dirt, it’s gotten trapped underneath the skin. Doesn’t mean she’s a dirty person, she’s probably outdoors in bare feet or flip flops a lot. X
The worst flip flop feet I've ever seen belong to the wife of one of my husband's friends. She wears flip flops or is barefoot all year round (in Montana), and her feet look like hooves. I can't believe it doesn't hurt. Seeing your work on this client, I believe you are the only nail tech who could make her feet healthy and beautiful again! Beautiful result!

Dry manicures and pedicures are more hygienic. You’ll start seeing this practice more often as pedicure bowls that are not well maintained can have bacteria in the water or basin and depending on the condition of your feet, transferring bacteria into your crevices, etc. is extremely harmful. There are times where soaking the feet is necessary; every client’s situation varies... read “Nail Care Nightmares” and “Death by Pedicure” and you’ll be shocked at how many infections, amputations, and even death were caused by soaking hands and feet in water!
The cleaning and lifting was gentle but I hope her toenail sides aren't damaged because nail lifting while cleaning in the sides, causes damage, that is the only thing I find could have been performed better, in vertical movements scraping straight outward from the start of the side of the nail to the end of the nail plate

It's not supposed to hurt. If it hurts, you're cutting live tissue. You should only take off the dead skin.
You should NEVER remove the cuticles! Only tidy them and push back. I have no idea WHY they do that in spme countries! 😱
