Gulf's duality is what attracted me in the first place. He can be the cutest ball of fluff to ever fluff, and in 00.2 seconds turn up in a leather jacket and headbang to a rock song. It keeps things interesting. 😁

Actually he’s just childish. He once said in the interview that if he could come back to the past, he would be more determined on his career. Mew influenced and inspired him obviously. And with the one he admires, he wants to be a better person. He has improved himself. No matter their relationship is, that’s fate they’ve met
It's funny how when they first met (looking back at the audition day), Gulf was actually the manlier one and Mew was acting all cute and adorable.
Two weeks afterwards (during their first interview), Mew said that he liked someone who is CUTE. Since then, Gulf has become as we came to know him. Though sometimes he does act like his old self, more manly and confident. And lately, Mew started being cute again.
I am sometimes wondering how much the characters they portrayed impacted the way they carried themselves. Now that the Serie is over it seems that their old selves are slowly resurfacing.
In the end, I only hope that they can be their real selves and not feel too influenced by their fan's expectations.
I believe Gulf's underlying character is cute and shy, he would still hide behind his mom and whines to his dad. Rather than bad boy vibes, it is more mischievous boy vibes. It's just common behavior, like being real rowdy and careless about personal image when you are with close pals, then all demure and proper when you are with someone you admire trying to score impression points.
