I'm not aiming to make this a full time endeavor although I do run the channel entirely not-for-profit (all my revenue helps to cover traveling costs etc.). Side Note - I hope your 101 facts about Southeastern does well, it was very interesting.

Thanks very much for your comment on that 101 vid - ironically it’s actually not performed as well as I’d hoped in terms of numbers! Not sure if it was the length or just the TOC not being well renowned. But I think my next one on the preserved Great Central Railway might do a bit better with it being a more popular topic. @@traintakes Its a good video, very well presented. I would suggest (and don't take it just from my word) targeting those videos at TOCs being discussed. An example might be if a franchise is about to end, you might was to make a video about the old/new TOC to try and generate some views since passengers and media are likely to be researching as well. My tip to you about the numbers is not to worry - if you look at the majority of big channels, they get most of their viewers many videos in. Case in point; UA-cam has recently started suggesting my videos to a lot more people recently but that was only after I'd uploaded 90 videos!
Highly recommend it! Staff are great as well, they had no problem with letting me in and doing some filming 😊 If you'd like to some more collabs soon too, I'm all up for it 😀
Smashing video 😎👍🏽 I love Shrewsbury as its like stepping back to another era. The semaphore signals, the great tall signal box at Welsh’s Bridge, the complex junction, the old fashioned station building. Its like the land that time forgot 😂👍🏽 Modern stock looks so out of place there.
Shrewsbury has its busy times, although it is limited in traffic due to the old signalling. The station staff are great as well. Highly recommend a visit if your in the area 😃 Thank You Mikel!

For one second I took a look at the class 175 at 12:43 and wondered why a Greater Anglia train was doing there! Damn, who copied who there - Greater Anglia's & that white Transport for Wales have nearly identical liveries... Gotta love that monster signal box there!
It really is Jacob! I knew the station was still semaphore before arriving but it really is a gem of the past. The newer trains really don't compare! I highly recommend a visit if you happen to be nearby soon :)

Thanks Tom, those are both great suggestions. I went to Derby in 2019, but, on the right day, it can get some interesting freight and passenger workings. Ill put them both on my list for a re-visit later in the year.
That's no problem at all. I'm relatively close to both of those anyway. Most of my videos are suggestions from viewers in one way or another, as you can imagine, it takes me a while to action some of them as, like yourself, is not just as easy as turn up the following day!

It’s always great to hear from you 😃 I have not considered any merchandise at this stage although it would be awesome to design some train mugs, shirts etc. like that once the channel gets a bit bigger. I’m honestly not sure what size the channel would need to be viable for me.

@@breeze1472 150s and 153s are much better now coz TfW refurbished them aport from the ex EMR, ex GA 153s coz they were only supposed to be with TfW until the 769s are all in service

platfrom 3 only gets used a bit mostly when the station is busy but platfrom 7is for manchester to west wales and platfrom 4 is

I didnt mean all the time as in every service I mean as in there normally very rare but in summer there were quite a few a day.
