I would like to think that this song starts with Fukase waiting for someone then realize that his crush isn't coming, so he stops being a clown for them and goes his own way, even though he still has feelings for them

ik it's been 8 months but according the original song's lyrics the character singing it doesnt have a happy ending in the end
so uhh in the start it's most likely the character is waiting for their toxic lover and not their crush
and the last line "just manipulate me all you want" is most likely representing the character didnt left their toxic lover and is still willing to change for them even if the character knows it would be bad for them

In V4, there was this feature called XSY, you could basically cross fade 2 banks if they were the same language and voice. Since Fukase had a normal and soft JPN bank, he could XSY with himself
