That first battle was fuckin INTENSE. The tank took so much damage it looked like a junkyard find by the end. That’s impressive for a vehicle not particularly known for its armor! Any word on a potential partnership with Gaijin? I’m still waiting to rock a Nukenus decal on my vehicles!
For anyone interested, you can one shot all tanks by... well ... not hitting them.. If you hit the ground right beside them, like at the track its a one shot. Hitting the lower part of the front track works to. Hitting the top of the the side track usually does nothing. hitting the ground under the is a one shot to. I think its because if you hit the tank itself it uses the HESH coded system for damage but the HE aspect of the shell is not accounted for. But if you hit the ground right beside it, it will use the HE system, its like a bomb going off beside it. This is obviously mostly effective at close range, but when I am using this thing even at medium range I'm looking to hit where track meets ground.
Is it just me, or is this round seriously underperforming? A tank shouldn't be surviving a penetration from this round...heck, even a non-pen should disable the vast majority, due to the sheer mass of the round.
@@edgychico9311i belive you, but the amount that HESH detonates on exposed surfaces like tracks or like, logs and boxes just feels like volumetric fuckery. Add to that the fact that they dont overpressure where HE would and they are stuck as a specialty shell for when the enemy has a tiny bit of roof armor exposed.
That was some impressive lobbing of shells.

i noticed that hitting the place as you said does result in kill but most of the time the round could ricochet off the ground for some reasons....
For me it's just a modern catapult
I meant tank are modernized ballista

HESH in general really sucks in war thunder. thank volumetric, i guess
@@exoticbreadstick8661 nope they historically nerf the HESH.

I think you're just dumb
Yea, hesh sucks in wt.
How much pen does the HESH have?
203mm from all sides and range. so it a very decent round...if Volumatric and velocity doesn't fuck you over
the only tank in Brit that i want to get...guess i will wait until it return and buy
ERA on 7.3, very balanced Gaijin
