Because my parents started arguing so much & I overheard what my mum said - 'Why the hell are you taking money from my daughters savings account?!' That was when I snapped, I ran out of my room just to tell my dad I hate him - & because my nan was 3 blocks away from where I lived at the time, I went over to her house in tears. Then after 2 weeks, my mum finally had the courage to file for divorce & kick him out - whilst also getting custody over my brothers & I. Although my life changed, my mum would always tell my dad - 'Our daughter is so impressionable, so if you keep this up you will no longer see your "little princess". You will be on the streets, & there won't be any more fathers day gifts for you if you can't see your kids. So get your God Damn Life Together..' I had always known my parents struggled with money - since my mum lost her job so me & my brothers basically lived from free school lunch then my mum had gotten child benefits.. So my dad stealing money from each of our savings accounts (not only mine) killed my mum on the inside even more than before. That's when I told my dad, 'I will never be your little princess, so do NOT talk to me anymore..' P.S: if anybody hurts you - don't go crawl back to them. Show them your strong, Show Them Your Capable.
